Plenty of wind. Plenty of rain. But it was the lightning that kept firefighters here in Chester County on their toes throughout the night including one home that sustained some major damage. I was in my living room, and i just saw a big white flash go off, and the house kind of vibrated and shook. Reporter win master minutes, five Chester County homes were hit by lightning. Leaving fire crews running through the night. You see Lightning Strike and then you hear the clap of thunder right away. So you know its nearby. As you could see it move across our ultimate doppler screen the storms hit between about 4 00 p. M. And 8 00 p. M. And were still seeing some heavy rain associated with them. But as we zoom in on Chester County, you can see all of the Lightning Strikes associated with those storms, as they blew through between about 4 00 oclock and 5 00 oclock this afternoon. Multiple strikes and it only takes one obviously to cause miff quantity damage. Right now, were still looking at some showers and thunderstorms through south jersey and delaware, and more are moving up from West Virginia and virginia. So the rain is not over just yet. A driver in london who plowed into people outside a mosque over the weekend is held on murder charges. A man died and nine people were hurt in paris a man who tried to ram into police died when his car filled with explosives blew up. Dave schratwieser in north philadelphia. Dave, both incidents have the attention of police here. Reporter iain, while there is no intelligence information indicating a possible attack here in philadelphia, Police Commissioner richard ross told me tonight hes concerned about the attacks in london and paris, and he has ordered patrols increased around mosques here in philadelphia. Reporter this man left the mosque in West Philadelphia monday night after prayers concerned about the latest terror attack in england that targeted muslims leaving a london mosque. Mr. Williams was willing to compromise his position of public trust in exchange for private financial gain. Reporter prosecutors say williams accepted thousands of dollars of bribes from feasterville businessman muhammed ali in exchange for security favors and legal help for friend. Teacher Kelly Collins says during a special meeting tonight for members to go over the contract before voting the teachers portion was cut short. Historic markers throughout our area often tell painful story of struggles of the past. One of them being the history of slavery.
