Reporter Logan Township wawa finally reopened tonight. The stores power was shut off for most of the afternoon and all day gas leak evacuate the half mile radius in the rural and Industrial Area of swedesboro. Whats it look when people cant get their short tease. Its craze seem you know how you love your wawa. I love my wawa. You love your wawa. Its crazy one goes crazy you cant get your food. Reporter rail car filled to the top with 30,000 gallons of highly flammable propylene started leaking around 10 00 this morning on the unit block of osprey court. Valve stem failure cough the leak for five hours before it was capped by hazmat crews. First the initial was to shelter in place. Nobody to stand outside. Within five minutes they came changing plans. Everybody going to be evacuate. Reporter james, captured video of this huge gas plume at the leak site. He was one of about 1900 workers from nearly 100 businesses and a Daycare Center evacuated from the pure Land Industrial park. For fear of sparking an explosion, evacuees were forced to walk not drive to a safe zone nearly half a mile away. They didnt tell us what kind of a gas leak it was at first. When we came out and we saw the white like gas leaking from the tank we were a little concerned about what it was. And tonight, fire officials gave the all clear for hundreds of employees to return back to their jobs. Police say a tractor trailer overturned just after 6 00 tonight on the 2700 block of clemens road in hatfield. So i thought it was i thought it hit here we started running out this way and when we looked across we saw that big ball of fire and the smoke. Speaking at the rain look at ultimate doppler really lit up with that heavy rainfall right now moving through sections of Chester County, Delaware County as you move into montgomery county, bucks county right now looking at some of the moderate to heavy rain. Even some thunderstorm activity thankfully nothing is fear. Moorestown looking at very heavy rainfall right now. Center city as you move toward conshohocken, also, places like chads for looking at some of that moderate to heavy rainfall shifting on off to the north. A dry break. Parts of south jersey as you move down the shore. Als, sections of central and southern delaware. But look at the bulls eye of rain. So far over 2inches and were still counting around the philadelphia area about an inch in millville. You can see about half an inch in allentown and also closing in on an inch in the dover area. So over the next couple of hours, still watching some of that moisture pinwheel through the region but by tomorrow morning, clouds, mixing in with some sunshine. Tomorrow should be a dye day. About 20 chance in the afternoon for some popup showers once again friday and saturday looking pretty good but then that rainfall moves back in sunday into monday.
