say they're being extra careful tonight. fox 29's dave schratwieser joins us live at philadelphia police headquarters. dave? >> reporter: iain, police and that neighborhood are on high alert because this is the sixth attack now connected to this serial predator in the last six months. needless to say folks in that neighborhood are worried. >> it's really bad out here. >> reporter: tyrone brown walk his family home down clearfield street monday evening fully aware that a serial predator has struck multiple times in his neighborhood. >> you got this guy doing this, you know, women out here, i'm not going to let my wife go outside at nighttime by herself. >> i think he's crazy to be very truthful and needs to be taken down. he really does. >> reporter: brown spoke with fox 29 after police confirmed that investigators now believe two recent attacks here at stout ton and clearfield and ruth and to us alum street are connected to a string avenue tax on prostitutes dating back to april. >> it's like he's watching them or picking out the ones he wants to. >> i'm not going to come out here at night and i'm not going to talk to -- i don't talk to anybody either. really on bike or anything. >> police released these picture of suspect on bike back in july after ricky morgan was beaten with brick then stabbed to death at jasper and comer land. rosary beads and half dozen tether dee bears mark the spot where she was killed. >> riding up on his bike with 95, right? >> um-hmm. >> they needed to something about this. >> reporter: police say a woman told investigators she was choked into unconsciousness here at ruth and to us alum last week. the attack on september 19th involved a gun and a knife. ferlando worries about her goddaughter going to work early in the morning. >> idol her to call me when she gets there. call me when she's leaving. >> if ick do anything to stop him, i just got to stop him. >> reporter: there are surveillance cameras on several of the blocks where these latest attacks took place. there's also a $20,000 reward for information in the murder of ricky morgan. if you know anything, you should call philadelphia police. lucy? >> thank you very much, dave. breaking news. let's go to tacony. sky fox over frankford avenue and robbins street where three people are shot. gunfire rang out just past 9:00 injuring a 17-year-old and 16-year-old. they are both in critical condition. a 21-year-old is hit in the shoulder. right now, no arrests but investigators say they did find the gun they believe was used. skyfox also over ogontz and area where philadelphia police say that someone apparently tried to start a fire in a police cruiser. investigators found some burned paper sticking out of an open gas tank in the car parked at the 35th district lot. no one was hurt. on your radar tonight, a fall chill out there. jackets and scarves were out in university city tonight with cooler temperatures than we've felt in awhile. if today is a surprise and east 40s. and millville possibly getting down into the 30s overnight. a frost advisory in effect for our northern and western suburbs especially upper bucks and montgomery, the northern part of chester also western chester northward and also most of south jersey with the exception of the shore. you can see low temperatures between thrive and 38 so anything that's from summer any of those north carolina search and rescue operations continue tonight for flooding victims of hurricane matthew. this is video from the very hard hit city of lumberton. it might only get worse as relentless rain has overwhelmed dams and rivers continue to swell in record setting flooding. the storm has killed at least 23 people in the united states. meanwhile n haiti, the death toll continues to rise. at least 500 people who did not survive and desperation is growing in devastated communities still waiting for any and all help. health officials are also warning about the possibility now of a cholera outbreak. eight people without a home tonight in west oak lane after a fire ripped through an apartment building. skyfox was over the scene tonight on the 1600 block of chelten avenue as crews put the fire out. no one was hurt and the red cross is now helping those affected. it's not clear what started that fire. happening now, a camden county community is on high alert after string of burglars police in clementon are investigating a series of break ins and they say it could be the same guy each time. left neighbors on edge there about where he might strike next. >> tonight one of those neighbors is telling fox 29 all about her ordeal. our shawnette wilson joins us live from the clementon police depth. shawnette, she's got to be so scared. >> reporter: yeah, this woman tells me, lucy n she can barely sleep now after sleeping through a burglary that happened inside her home. this neighborhood alert watch has been passed out to residents and police have also posted it on their facebook page. >> saw all the drawers were open and stuff was taken out, and jewelry, all my jewelry was gone. >> reporter: this woman tells the terrifying story of what happened while she slept inside her home in clementon heritage square. her hands tremble as she recalls the morning she woke up. >> i woke up to three cops in the living room and flashlight saying hello, hello s anyone home. >> we are not showing her face because she's afraid and still shaken up. it was a week ago today that a burglar broke this back kitchen window, climbed through and took money and credit cards from her purse. they also swept room to room stealing jewelry, getting just inches away from her as she slept. >> i have a night stand next to my bed, and they had gone through the drawer in the night stand because it was still open. >> police say the burglar left and tried to break into another home a few doors away. but was scared off because that person inside was awake. that neighbor called police who searched and found the shattered glass and opened sliding door the burglar left at the first victim's home leading cops right to her. >> kitchen window. >> victim now has an alarm system she hopes will make her feel secure. she doesn't know how she leapt through it all she believe it's a blessing and likely the reason she didn't get hurt. >> i don't know how. i really don't. i don't. i'm glad i afternoon high school football practice. well today was no normal practice for north penn high school football kicker who went viral today but not because of her kicking, because of her hi hitting. when we met north penn high school junior kelly mc in a narah she was banging field goals after practice kicking so hard she actually hit a couple school buses outside the field. but these days kelly isn't known for her kicking, she's now known for this. the hit heard around the world. >> it was my job at the time, um, it was just one hit, but it was good one. >> reporter: it all happened friday night in a matchup against central bucks east. after kelly's kick off was returned for 30 yards, she was the last line of defense. and lowered the boom against her opponent. the crowd went nuts. so did her dad. >> as soon as she hit the kid, our entire stands just erupted. >> reporter: hit went viral. viewed and retweeted more than million times. she even got the attention of another north penn kicker, super bowl champion and denver bronco brandon mcmannis. kelly says, being in the spotlight even doing tv interviews is cool. but north penn's first female kicker says she's just doing her job whistleblower trial against penn state university. 19 people have been selected as possible jurors in that lawsuit by the former penn state assistant football coach. the judge wants pool of 28 for the 12 jurors and four alternates. mcqueary claims that the university retaliated against him in 2012 after jerry sandusky you today convict much abusing 10 boys. it was mcqueary's testimony that he saw sandusky abuse a boy in the shower that helped put sandusky in prison. happening right now, a local family is pleading for answers. it has been nearly a month since someone gunned down 24-year-old darrell singleton but his family says they're still no closer to finding his killer. >> fox 29's sabina kuriakose on how the family is coping and their message that they want to you hear. >> i worked hard. darrell went to camps and he went to, you know, different types of workshops and we went on vacations. he saw more than just the neighborhood. >> reporter: but it was back in the old neighborhood where trina singleton's eldest son darrell was killed home in between emt classes last month. shot dead in the same yard he played in as child. >> we want answers, and we know that people have information because darrell was well known in the neighborhood as a good kid, you know, and people liked him in the neighborhood, so that's why part of why people weren't talking more and then letting the police know what occurred. because people know. they do. >> reporter: mother still in shock barely able to comprehend her son is dead, his killer on the loose. trina says the old play mates darrell grew up with have gone silent and that is amplifying her pain. >> at least knowing somebody is going to be held accountable will help you move forward. >> reporter: homicide decksare investigating but trina worries her son's case is growing cold. darrell was shot repeatedly around 7:30 in the evening of september 13th. the day before his 25th birthday. it will be one month tomorrow and another murder statistic in the city. but not a number to his mother who tried so hard so her son could soar. he has wings now but not here on earth. trina has a message for the killer. >> we're not going to stop looking for you. you're going to be caught and prosecuted. >> reporter: a $21,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest. if you know anything, you are >> we do get that reaction. people say new jersey, wine, i don't know. >> when people come into our wine tasting room they come into the winery and dave the wine. they're always pleasantly surprised and then they want to know more. >> richard heritage is talking about heritage winery in mullica hill one of the best wineries in new jersey. his family has been farming the land here since 1853 and now they make internationally a claimed wine right here in the garden state. >> we have a very sandy rocky soil, and some of those soil components are very similar to that of california and bordeaux, france. >> because of that soil, 15 years ago, bill heritage, richard's dad who had been growing apples and peaches started to start growing grapes. he planted 2 acres in 2001 and plan was to sell the fruit to other wineries. >> my wife penny said, no, we're going to make the wine. [ laughter ] >> i said okay. how we going to do that? >> we completely sold 500 bottles at 21.50 a bottle. i look at her i said we're making the wine. we're making the wine. we've been making wine ever since then. >> the wine has gotten better. winning awards and fans. remember this is new jersey. a hidden gem 25 minutes from philadelphia. where they are producing wines just as good as those in france or napa valley. >> new jersey has all of the features that you look for in the next great wineries. ♪ >> bonnie seeley has been visiting new jersey wineries for nearly 10 years now. and she's known for while that new jersey wines are some of the best in the world. >> i think new jersey wines now are really competitive on a world class basis. they're winning awards. they're winning awards in california a lot of them are winning awards in europe and i think that's great. >> if you're 92 pinot neir this is about the close you can come to it. >> he's passionate about making wine while it may take a lot of hard work prepping the vines and picking the grapes it's a labor of love. >> it takes lot of hard work to put a crop on the table whether it's in a bottle or on plate. >> bill is a fifth generation farmer. to get the wine you have to grow the grapes. if you're in the wine business, you're a farmer. >> no farmers, no wine. >> farming is what we're all about. we're the garden state. >> wine is sweet. nice flavor. check the seed. the seed is brown. brownish. in the quiet -- little bit of green left. then you chew the seed. >> really?
