was critically hurt in a fire. that fire broke out on the 3700 block of south hair ford lane in morrell park that section of northeast philadelphia. witnesses tell us the little girl's mother desperately tried to save her daughter from the top floor bedroom. but both were airlifted to the hospital. the department at the of the child who died has not been released. no word tonight on the mother's condition. it is a dire situation for lots of dogs at philadelphia city shelter. it is at capacity and more dogs are coming in every day. act philly which is anamine take shelter because of that many adoptable dogs are at risk of being euthanized. they're working hard to find dogs forever or even foster homes to get them out of the shelter. act philly will be open tomorrow morning from 10:00 until 6:00 in the evening. >> one person died after a shooting in the west oak lane neighborhood right around 10:30 last night police were called to the 1600 block of mow keoghan street. two
