In fact, police dont even know right now whether this was a homicide or a possible suicide. They have not recovered a weapon yet. But they do tell us the war which is parked behind us does have a lot of debris in it so its unclear exactly what is inside. They wont know until its thoroughly searched back at the police garage. But what they do know there are no bullet holes on the outside of the car. I saw the Police Officer searching the car. Reporter neighbors watch as Police Surround this broken down black 19 nate Lincoln Town Car sitting on park avenue near cumberland street in north philly. Inside they say is the body of a 15yearold boy with at least one gunshot wound to the head. Its hard to see his face. Hes slummed over. Hes wearing a hood sweatshirt of the the hood is actually pulled over his head. Reporter police got several cars just after 7 00 tonight from people hearing someone screaming about body inside the car. When police arrived, they say two people who identified themselves as the boys parents were already on scene. Has not been verified at this point, but family members believe it is a 15yearold boy. This 15yearold boy lives up in per darby. He was recently its this past wednesday reported missing. Reporter its unclear how the family found out the boy was inside the car. Police say they used to live in the neighborhood, though. Police also say the abandoned car belongs to a man on the block and that kids were known to hang out in the car. A neighbor who lives down the street is shocked and says she doesnt recall hearing gunshots. It makes me feel terrible. Police tell us that they will will be looking at video from real crime cameras block away or so and looking at video from resident security cameras to see if they captured anything. Reports say four protesters did try to storm one of the Hotel Entrances but did not make it inside. Most protesters criticizing the billionaires recent comments they say are anti islam. Several dozen muslims from our area gathering outside Philadelphia City hall today for peaceful protest. We gathered here together because we want to condemn the hate crime. Organizers calling the rally muslims against terror. They say the news of the recent attack in San Bernardino, california, does not demonstrate what their religion represents. Those in attendance say they stand with all americans in helping to stomp out extremism in any form. A mother of four and her cousin are jailed tonight charged with arson, burglary and attempted kidnapping. 32yearold len net mcguire and her cousin 33yearold denise coil are both under arrest. Prosecutors say the women set fire to mcguires parents house in washington township, new jersey last night. It was all in an tempt according to investigators to abduction mcguires threeyearold daughter. All four of her children are living at their grand parents house in the 800 block of lafayette court. Investigators say the cousin set a fire in the garage and then were somehow able to grab the threeyearold as everyone ran out of the house. Police stopped the two women in their car and the child was returned to her grand parents unharm. The stay award the grandparents custody all four children. Both women being held on 100,000 bail tonight. The grand parents house suffered extensive damage in that fire. The release of dash cam video showing that shooting set off days of protests in the windy city. Police officers in North Carolina are now on administrative duty after a man dies in their custody. Investigators say 31yearold travis page died on wednesday night shortly after he was pepper sprayed by Winston Salem Police Officers. The officers say they were responding to a shooting and that page fit the suspects description. They also claim he resisted arrest. State investigators say the may take months for the autopsy results. The incident is dividing pins in that town but everyone is calling for body cam video to be released. Im encouraging the District Attorney to release the video tape. This council, the mayor, the council members, the city government, the chief, we are committed to transparency. We want it released as soon as possible. Investigators say video from that incident will not be released until a thorough review is completed. Happening now, the latest on the San Bernardino terror investigation. The search for clues into last weeks deadly shooting going back underwater. Fbi divers returning for a second day to a lake in San Bernardino just a few miles from the inland regional center. Teams may be searching for a missing driver from the couples computer. Meanwhile, funerals for some of the victims of the San Bernardino massacre started this week. 27yearold yvette, was laid to rest yesterday. Homeland security will now oversee the search for two Afghan Military trainees who disappeared without trace from a Georgia Air Force base. Federal authorities refused release their names or photographs but insist they are not a terror threat. The men work as aircraft mechanics at the base, and have been in the United States since february. They were last seen on monday, and were set to graduate in just eight days. But now no one knows where they are and that has some people near the base concerned. Are they up to no good . Is someone, you know, been up to no good and harmed them . You know, are they seeking asylum . You know, not wanting to go back. I mean, theres a lot of unanswered questions. I wasnt that scared and stuff. Just kind of like why did it happen . What happened . Where did they go . Why hasnt anybody heard anything and why havent we found them. Neighbors say they wont panic but will be on edge until those two men are found. Operator error may be the cause of a train lead leaving suburban boston station without the driver. The train pull out carrying 50 passengers. The six car train went through four stations without stopping. The Massachusetts Transportation Authority was finally able to stop the train nine minutes later by cutting power to the rails. Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker says riders should not be worried about getting on train. I want to stress at this point that the investigation is on going but we do believe this was an isolated incident. One that likely required an individual to make multiple mistakes. Investigators are now looking at how the train operator was able to get permission to move the train even though there was a signal problem. No passengers were hurt during that incident. Reporter we met off with ut beauty salon owner danielle near midday on locust near 12th. She can describe the safety hazard creat created by street s that have been out of service ever since a contractor dug up locust more than a month ago. Lets just say its not the safest situation in the world so, yeah, im concerned. Im definitely concerned. Reporter danielle had sent us photos of the darkened block along with a short video when some she narrated the problem. All of the steals are out until you get all the way up to camac street. Reporter its no small matter. Danielle and her salon employees often leave work after dark. Theres a patco station right at the corner operating well into the night. And across the block, a planned Parenthood Office where security is tight and street lights vit vital. Theres just not that many people around here at this time of the night so its scary. Reporter youre afraid to be out here in this kind of darkness. Absolutely. Reporter danielle says repeated calls to the citys 311 hotline got her nowhere so she reached out to us. I was hoping you could help me fix the situation. Obviously me, myself and my neighbors were not enough to get the job done. Were hoping fox can help us out with that and get these lights back on. Reporter i snapped isnt photos and e mailed them to city streets commissioner david per perry. Within minutes he responded to us with a promise of help. Being the middle of the Holiday Season limited daylight we want to get this fixed. Thank you for bringing this to my attention. Reporter perry later reached out again to say a contractor had in fact damaged an underground cable knocking out the lights. But the Streets Department has put in temporary Service Connection and sure enough when darkness fell tonight, 12th and locust was lit up as it should be. Danielle is please. Commissioner perry tells me a crew will be back out at this location soon to make a permanent Service Connection.
