accused of indecently assaulting a woman today. investigators believe that he's done it before. good evening, i'm dawn timmeney. >> i'm joyce evans. the suspect was arrest tad shell gas station on lancaster avenue in radnor township. now, fox 29's brad sattin is live at that gas station tonig tonight. and there's a convenience store as well. brad? >> reporter: joyce, a case like this groping won normally be big news but when police think there could be other victims out there are it becomes big news. we are actually adjacent to villanova university. this is on the 800 block of east lancaster avenue. the store behind me closed right now, but during the day, it is a very busy place. in the video police say store employee bjl a.m. a seen making coffee while talking to 40-year-old customer. seems like a pleasant enough conversation when he approaches her and gives her a hug. >> this is where the contact begins. >> reporter: police aren't releasing the video of what happened next but tell us he touch the woman's breast and back side before he's pushed away. she runs out of the stop and shop and tells her father who is waiting in the car. they flag passing police car and after looking at the video arrest the man. after upon -- upon questioning neighbors -- >> local business owner stated he's aware of potentially two other victims who have fallen prey to assaults at the store. >> reporter: he didn't want to talk on camera. a woman told him she stopped going to the store because she didn't want to get groped again. police are now also reopening a-year-old case involving a woman with a similar complaint at the store. >> obviously that stop and shop is an extremely busy location with businesses very large college surrounding it. so we are concerned that other people may have had this happen to them and did not report it. >> reporter: police say the store owner is fully cooperati cooperating. he tells us l a.m. a has been working there i was fierce saying "we're in state of shock. i don't want to hide anything. no one has complained to us. i cannot tell by the video if he was trying to press against her. it's difficult to have an opinion about someone's intentionintentions "this womane was in the store earlier today and spoke to l a.m. a who was behind the counter. >> he was being overly nice how i feel. like he wanted to know a little bit -- a little bit more personal about like how i'm doing which anybody ask that question, but just the way he asked. >> reporter: made you feel uncomfortable? >> yeah. >> reporter: others though -- >> i never had a problem with the guy. i've gone in. i've bought gas. i've bought food in there and he's never given me a problem so i'm kind of shocked. >> reporter: llama tonight facing a flu of charges, harrah's many, indecent assault and disorderly conduct. police telling us about it they fear there could be other victims out there. if all right victim or have any information you're asked to call radnor township police. joyce and dawn? >> all right, thank you, brad. well, camden county prosecutors are hoping that newly released surveillance video will help them catch two wanted men. this is video from the delaware river port authority tunnel beneath the ben franklin bridge. investigators say these two men left the scene of a shooting last night on north sixth street. this is in camden. that's where 19 year old man was shot and he later died at the hospital. if you recognize those two men, call police. well many people are paying close attention right now to tropical storm erika. new orleans it's quite a different story today. is the tenth anniversary of hurricane katrina. the costly yesterday natural disaster in american history. >> reporter: peaceful darkness shrouds new orleans 10 years ago it was a completely different story. mother nature unleashing its fury on the super dome and the entire crescent city. as hurricane katrina battered the gulf coast the super dome became both shelter of last resort and an undying image of the natural disaster that killed so many and displaced even more. the walls holding back the water surrounding the city below sea level broke a decade ago. one of the hardest hit areas was the city's lower ninth ward. today march through that neighborhood people celebrated how far they've come even though there's still much more to do. ♪ >> reporter: more than 1800 people died in katrina's wake. a memorial was dedicated to 30 people who died but were never identified. ♪ >> reporter: all week, current and former presidents made their way to the big easy. tonight, it was bill clinton's turn. >> we have moved mountains and made miracles and it's astonishing and we're proud. >> reporter: much of new orleans is thriving again there's many people who sheltered in the super dome who never returned. the big easy has about 100,000 less residents post katrina. in new orleans, joel walled man, fox news. on your radar tonight, another heat wave in the making. let's get over to fox 29 meteorologist mike masco and, mike, it's going to be steamy start to september. i'm telling you. we're sizzling to kick off september, dawn. good evening everybody. really just a little bit of a taste some of the humidity out there. very comfortable evening. it's mild and then we'll turn balmy as we go into tomorrow. here's the shot in old city right now. take look at temperatures across the delaware valley we're still hanging on to 76 degrees at the airport. north and west much cooler. look at mount pocono lovely at 61. lehigh valley right around 70 and shore points staring 73 degrees. now the humidity is not there just yet. you go south and west right around the delaware bridge and into baltimore and d.c., yes, it's getting a little muggy, but that is the air poised to move in tomorrow. then area of high pressure sets up. call it bermuda high in the weather business will bring southwesterly wind that that create hot and humid conditions as we get into this week. right now dealing with clod cover across town. super moon going on right now. that's just kind of creating a lovely skyline with some of the highest thin sirius clouds coming in otherwise a lot of trouble down a cross florida that's the remnants of tropical storm erika. i'll come back in a little bit talk more about erika. some questions that we'll have to answer and maybe another tropical storm developing. detail that coming up. >> thank you mike. well a bicyclist is in critical condition tonight after she was hit by a car and then trapped underneath it. police say the car and the bicycle collided at 22nd and ben franklin parkway just after 12:30 this morning. the victim was knocked to the ground and investigators say the car actually stopped on top of her. firefighters pulled her out and rushed her to the hospital. she's in critical condition tonight with a number of broken bones. investigators say alcohol made a part in this crash. but they did not say who may have been drinking. police took the driver in for questioning but so far no charges have been filed. one person is hurt and several more are out of their homes after an early morning fire in the bustleton neighborhood of philadelphia. firefighters were called to the 9800 block of haldeman avenue. this was around 3:30 this morning. officials say the fear started in the basement of the apartment building. the red cross is helping 10 people who need a place to stay. two new castle residents are in jail tonight after police say they commit add home invasion style robbery last weekend. this is mug shot of 27-year-old martin thompson police say he and 35-year-old latoya lunar forced their way into a room at the knights in motel in new castle last saturday night. the man inside told officers the pair assaulted him and grabbed $900 in cash before taking off. investigators say they linked thompson and lunar to the crime after discovering thompson had dropped his cell phone nearby. a disciplinary board is making a move that could force state attorney general kathleen kane out of office. the board has 13 members appointed by the supreme court. its job is to oversee the conduct of lawyers all across the state. the board has reporte reportedly notified kathleen kane it is seeking an emergency suspension of her law license. the supreme court will make a final decision. the state constitution requires that the attorney general have an active law license. kane is accuse of leaking secret grand jury information to a philadelphia newspaper. prosecutors say that kane did it as political pay back. community members gathering to night in south philadelphia to pay tribute to a philadelphia police officer killed while off duty. a fundraiser for sergeant raphael ali held at bocce's comedy cafe on columbus boulevard. ali was killed one week ago after he crashed his dodge ram pickup into a tree on the 6,000 block of henry avenue. the club says they wanted to do their part to support ali's family. >> we just wanted to support the officer -- sergeant ali, support his family because he didn't die on duty nobody was really doing anything for his family or the benefit of his children. we thought it was important the community and police department has a whole knew we were here to support him. >> ali was 32 years old and assign to the 39th police district. several buildings come down today in new jersey. why one city wanted them out of the way and what is going up in their place coming you. >> stores and malls busy today with back to school shoppers. why some look at your own trash collector. that's coming up. ♪ ♪ a community in houston shattered one day after a deputy was gunned down outside a gas station. hundreds of residents have been stopping by that business turning a gas pump into a make shift memorial. now investigators searched for almost a day to track down the person who pulled the trigger and tonight authorities say they have their man. fox's will carr reports. >> reporter: throughout course of the day authorities have said that this murder was an assassination in its execution. they say that it took place last night in northwest harris county which encompasses houston. shannon miles with no warning and no confrontation shot deputy darren go forth multiple times in the head and back and took off in a red ford ranger. that's truck that ultimately led to miles arrest. authorities found it park outside of his house. they initially took him in for questioning describing him as person of interest and not releasing his name. they even went as far to continue to call him the public's help to fine the kill killer. then about 5:30 eastern, authorities said miles was indeed the man who gunned down one of their own. they say ballistics tests matched a large gun found with miles to the crime scene. local members of the lamb celebrating the arrest but the president of the local police union says they were warned to watch out for violence before this shooting because of anti police rhetoric going on across the country. the sheriff expanding on that saying officers across the country need to be on high ale alert. >> our assumption he was a target because he wore a unifo uniform. at this moment we found no other motive or indication that it was anything other than that. >> reporter: goforth is the 23rd member of law enforcement should be and killed this year. there's no other motive the fact he was simply a deputy. district attorney and sheriff both had strong words for the anti police movement earlier in the day. >> there are a few bad apples in every profession. that does not mean that there should be open warfare declared on law enforcement. >> we've heard black lives matter. all lives matter. cops lives matter too. why don't we just drop the collar fire and say loves matter and take that to the bank. >> reporter: darrin goforth was a 10 year veteran who leaves behind wife and two kids. non-profit police charity has given the family $20,000 to use right now and they have pledged to pay for both of his kids college education in the future. in los angeles, will carr, fox news. a delaware man is facing attempted murder charges after police say he cut had the has girlfriend's throat. state police telling fox 2920-year-old darnell aiken started fighting with his girlfriend inside her home and went to the kitchen, grabbed a knife and swung it at her. the girlfriend's neck was slashed in the attack. he's in jail tonight. no word on that 20-year-old woman's condition. the memorial gross outside a virginia television station that lost two of its journalists. allison parker and adam ward were shot and killed earlier this week along life television. friends and family
