This is due to an earlier motorcycle involved crash that had all the drivers on i4 westbound unable to get on to 275 south. Forced to take detour northbound. What we are seeing even though we have big delays. Drivers now from i4 west can get to 275. So those lanes are open. Just moments ago we saw, we had skyfox monitoring downtown exits. Those are now open. So we are going some improvements to travel times. But it will take awhile. Because road was shut down for hours. You can see this is earlier video of the area. And what we know is that it does involve a motorcyclist that apparently was involved in this wreck. Slammed into the barrier and unfortunately passed away. We have the lanes open. This is earlier aerial video when downtown exit was closed. And 275 south was open. And delays are still bad. So drivers are still urged to either plan extra time or use some work around. I am going to just clarify. Selmon expressway looks like best bet at saving time. If you are heading south of 275 use selmon connector and use that to access anywhere south of 275. If you are trying to head anywhere north of 275. Beyond the interchange. I would say probably exit at mlk. And use mlk to get to where you are going. Get to dave and update you in a incidents. I cannot begin to understand what this family must be going through. Not only the parents but an eightyearold girl that is now without her little brother this morning. I want to take you to this saddlewood boulevard in north lakeland. 5 00 thursday when Polk County Sheriffs Office said that a pickup truck struck Austin Crawford as he and his sister rode bikes in front of the neighbors home. Boy turned and traveled into the road. Driver hit him. Neighbors shared memories of the child. He was always happy. I met his dad. Talked to his dad. Met and talked to his good people. Just a little boy wanting to play. Come outside and he would come over and say hi phillip and want to talk. He was a good boy. Reporter now we learned neighbors and family members trying to perform cpr and medics transported austin to the hospital for treatment. But ultimately he did not survive his injuries. As for the driver involved in this accident. Working the case. It is unclear if speed factored into the case. It is also unclear at this point if the driver will face any charges. At last check the deputies simply described this as something that appeared to be a tragic accident. And investigators are still working the case. Since then we have grown to a very good school. We love our school. Student spirit is increasing last three years. And we are putting ourselves on the map. We are excited. Good for you.
