developing this morning in milwaukee: the national guard is on standby after two nights of ?violent unrest. police say shots were fired at 3 different locations... and one person was hit. this all comes after a black man was shot and killed during a traffic stop. businesses were burned midnight... at least 17 people were arrested and 4 officers hurt. police have not named the officer involved in the shooting... but say he is a 24-year old african american- with several years of police experience. the man shot by police was 23-year- old sylville smith... officials say smith can be seen on body camera footage -- holding a loaded gun in his hand as he fled a traffic stop saturday: the mayor of milwaukee is pushing for that body camera video to be released... but police say that likely won't happen anytime soon as it would interfere with the legal process. and in georgia... ?two police officers have been shot, in separate incidents. and one of those officers has ?died. in eastman, about a suspicous person when he was shot and killed. a manhunt is now underway for the suspected gunman... "royheem deeds." smith was a 5 year veteran of the force, and a father of three. and in marietta, georgia... another officer-involved shooting. officer scott davis and other officers answered a call about a vehicle break-in at an apartment building. when they arrived, two teenagers in a car began firing at them--hitting scott in the leg. the officers shot back, wounding one of the teens. boys are now in custody... they are both just 15 years old. here in florida: a lake county man is in jail -- after getting into a shoot-out with deputies. investigators say 42-year-old "michael carroll" shot at deputies several times with a rifle before he was hit. officials say -- they were originally called out to the home -- after getting a call from a woman trying to break up a fight between carroll and his adult son. as the f-d-l-e investigates -- two deputies are on paid leve for their involvement in the shootout. closer to home -- we're learning more about a pinellas county teacher and her boyfriend who are in critical condition... after a crash in pinellas park. caroline sine is a music teacher at john sexton elementary. her boyfriend, sean hankins, also shares a love of music--as a frontman for a local band. both are now in the hospital... as family and friends pray for a speedy recovery. fox 13's evan lambert has more on the story... including the man facing charges. on camcaroline sine and sean hankins were brought to bayfront medical center in st. pete in critical condition.and the man who police say put them in that state--is facing several dui charges.vo 34-year-old caroline sine and 36-year-old sean hankins were seriously injured in an early morning crash with a dui driver.pinellas park police say 36-year-old brice macleod ran a red light while drunk and slammed into the couple on park boulevard.the crash happened just before 1 am sunday.sine is a music teacher at john sexton elementary school.hankins is a singer in the tampa group bipolar band. police say the dui driver faces two charges of dui with serious bodily injury.macleod refused to take a breath test at the scene--according to investigators--but they arrested him because they say he was obviously impaired.on camthe pinellas county public schools told me their thoughts are with sine's family during this difficult time.el fox 13 a memorial service will take place this week, for a 73-year-old librarian who was accidentally shot and killed during a police demonstration.
