The good news is the Hillsborough County deputy is okay. They got a call roughly around 10 45 last night. A deputy was en route to aggravated 92. When he spotted a vehicle, that was a suspected in the call that he was assigned to. Deputy conducted a traffic stop on that vehicle on Woodrow Wilson street and homosassa road. Now once the vehicle pulled over that traffic stop, the deputy started to get out of his car, the suspect according to Sheriffs Office backed up on toot patrol car ramming the front end of that car. The deputy was knocked to the ground, at the time he was so he fired at least one shot at the suspect. He does not believe that suspect was shot. Additional deputies arrived on sene.
