Reporter paola vargas pled not guilty to manslaughter through her attorney at her arraignment this morning. Prosecutors say vargas killed her 4monthold son by stuffing him in a freezer. Detectives say vargas called 911 saying she was going to kill herself by jumping off a bridge. Vargas told officers that she had eaten rat poison and thrown per baby off the bridge. The story then changed again to the child being in the freezer pole arrested vargas when they found the dead child in the freezer. Last month during her bond hearing attorneys talked in detail about her Mental Health condition. Her Mental Health must be serious. She needs to be supervised 24 7 as far as im concerned. Reporter vargas didnt have to post a bond after being released from Jackson Memorial hospital psychiatric unit. The Bond Court Judge let her go home under house arrest wearing a gps ankle monitor.
