are north carolina driver's license, north carolina state i.d. we have the military i.d. for active active, retired and contractors and veterans card and those cannot be expired. the north carolina i.d. and north carolina state drivers license can be expired for up to four years. the other i.d.'s cannot be expired. in addition to the veterans card and military i.d. we have the federal tribal i.d.'s and some of the north carolina state tribal i.d.'s. if one has an out-of-state driver's license they can use that so long as they have registered to vote within 90 days of the election and that cannot be expired. gloria: i understand that you even if you don't have an i.d. >> we want everybody who is a registered voter to vote. if one doesn't have an i.d., definitely they should still come to the poll because they will be able to vote and the vote will count. what they can use is if they have a document. help america vote act and that includes a utility bill, bank statement, government check, paycheck. medicaid card. medicine carry card. social security letter. items like that can assist one with voting a provisional ballot and that will could not on verification. however, when going into the polls within can show the voter registration card and if they don't have either of those, they can also state the last four digits of their social security number and date of birth and they will receive a provisional verification. we want to make sure that everybody who is registered to vote gets out to vote today whether they have a photo i.d. or not. gloria: very important the get
