Its hard to believe when we got the news that ollie was in fact, found here behind the indicates dpaits at the national zoo. She was found in the bird house exhibit of all places. And zoo keepers came across her there. They some of other staff ran up and brought live traps treats to put out trying to coax her there. The area that we actually trapped her behind the bird house, list rally if you follow rock creek where her exist is she followed the creek and wept exactly where we thought she would have gone if you follow that direction there is a Park Police Substation along beach drive which butts right up to massachusetts avenue that connects to the wood that come back to the bird house. So there you go. All roads did lead back to the zoo here. They say ollie other than a small scratch on pause seem to be okay. Its totally ridiculous. As he slept on the couch in his basement a car came barreling by the nearby wall 2 a. M. Breaking through brick and two windows. Doesnt matter ice, snow, dry weather, here. His home is off cipriano road in planham where the speed little is posted 35 miles an hour. Since moving in in 71 there have been at least five times where speeding cars have come over the hill, lost control around this corner, and jumped his curb. I went down that way one day and my wife was here and we had a motor home. And they almost took that out. Some years ago we had a couple kids ran over down here because idiots come running down the road. Miller says the accidents usually happen at night and have left him constantly having to keep up with repairs around his property.
