>> tonight on montgomery county cheer squad called ghetto by their own principal says an apology is not enough. >> and a student makes remarkable accomplishment. life changing decision he has to make tonight on "fox" news at 10. >> we begin tonight with a live picture from downtown d.c. where protesters with the group green peace we believe he have just finally came down from the top of the crane and our crew on the scene says they believe protesters have now come down. this is a ground level view of that crane. >> apparently protesters wentz up at 7:00 this morning and they started climbing this crane at 15 and l streets and they hoisted a sign that reads, resist, their protest was in response to donald trump orders to delay environmental rules and restart oil pine line projects. again we believe that those protesters are now down. we will give you an update cong on "fox5". meanwhile, only on "fox5"new details emerging about a security breach inner city family services in southeast. that's a contractor for district department of behavioral health. now, one victim says his identity has, in fact, been stolen, i'm tony perkins. >> i'm shawn yancy. >> his accusation comes a week after we reported on a case we're, accused of hireing a strange to do work. the employee emailed confidential files to the stranger. tisha lewis has been following the story and joins us now with the latest, tisha. >> reporter: shawn, tony, we spoke with d.c. mayor muriel bowser about this investigation we've been following. she had a public event national city christian church. viewers will get a chance to hear that in a couple minute and this is a sorry that ranks high on the the outrage scale. d.c. residents vulnerable and in need of help getting over again by inner city family services and at least right now it appears the district is still doing business with them. >> i'll pull it up on the computer anything in my name and i never had a license in my life. never had a car. nothing. t-mobile said i owed a bill for 300 i mean sprint. >> gregory miller says all this surfaced in the last week after we reported about security breach inner city family services south east. miller's file was one of a dozen case files inner family services support worker latonya voder emailed to this college student a total straipinger that responded to job ad posted on facebook. files included patient social security numbers, date of birth and medical diagnosis. >> it was saying this was going on and i asked about my informatn then said yeah it was breached. >> we tried to get answers from inner city family services director ten eesh asanders and wran into the same road problems miller is facing. >> call the lawyer and have a conversation with him. do not come into the clinic again. >> i want a lawyer. i want a lawyer in this case. my identity is out there. anybody could have anything in my name. >> reporter: and as i mentioned, we did just moments ago speak with d.c. mayor bowser and here's what she had to say about all this. >> i think the department knows the scope of the problem and it's limited and the personnel actions necessary have been taken. >> reporter: will the district continue relationship with inner city family services given the breach of a dozen vick thimz that had social security numbers and date of birth -- >> like i said i think the department has worked with that contractor and the problem is limited and personnel issue was addressed. >> what do you say to the victim we've spoken to two what do you say to them right now. >> we're aware of the limited problem and we feel like we addressed the personnel situation. >> reporter: lastly what disciplinary action will take place. >> the person was fired. >> reporter: he we did speak again with gregory miller tonight. he's the second victim we aired so far and he says he has not received any information from inner city family services, nor has he received that life lock subscription they sold us about last week. we have a statement from department of behavioral health according to federal and district law upper city family services like any healthcare provider is responsible for safeguarding protected hel ping information and minimizing impact of unauthorized disclosure and requires certified providers to get background check on employees. and they're making sure all legal requirements and certification requirements that coming from department of behavioral health director phyllis jones. shawn, tony, back to you. >> tisha this is outrageous. i can not imagine being one of these people. do we know in all how many people could have had information fall into the hands of complete strangers? >> reporter: well, what we know so far is that there are a dozen case files, a dozen patients that is not to say there could nobt more. if you saw the facebook post i saw advertising for this part him time work it appears this was the no the first time this caseworker solicited this type of help. we know for sure a dozen patients. >> what a mess, what a mess. tisha lewis with the story tonight. thank you. >> d.c. police had their handful this afternoon investigating three separate shootings all within 30 minutes. 7 people were shot minnesota northeast along bass place and mellon place northeast. live at police headquarters with the latest, lauren. four of them juveniles. fortunately, they all survived. tonight there's questions as to whether two of these shootings may be connected. and in and out first call came in at 4:09 . minnesota avenue and grant street in northeast. police had two areas taped off. one near entrance to minnesota avenue metro station and another spot a block down across the street. two boys were shot here. both under the age of 18. there is some lookout information for suspects. police say they are described as two boys appearing to be in teens. one wearing a red jacket and other a light blue jacket. they took off in a white volkswagen sedan with deep tinted windows and maryland license plates. less than 30 minutes later at 4:34 p.m. shots rang out at bass place and 5 street southeast about an eight minute driver away. two young men were shot here as well taken to the hospital and pieces of clothing and shoes left lying officers searched the area for evidence. police are trying to figure out whether four boys are connected. residents tell us the nice weather brought a lot of young people out today and they say it's sad it resulted in violence. one woman says there used to be a crime camera near the intersection bass place and she wants to see police bring it back. >> you call and call about people hanging on the corners around here. this really is a nice neighborhood. and it's just i figure they just kids you know? but it's been quite a few shootings since i've been here. i lived around this neighborhood all my life and came back two years ago. and it just is getting a little out of hand. >> reporter: theres with a third shooting this happened along mellon street near martin luther king avenue south east and the call came in 4:4 p.m. the same thing as bass place adults or shot two men and a come woman. it seems less likely they're related. certainly a violent afternoon and evening here. d.c. police are asking if there's anybody who witnessed shootings or has any information about the suspects that they please give them a call. live outside of police headquarters, lauren demarco, "fox5 local news". we have new details to a story we first brought you last night at 10. spring brook high school principal is apologizing to the school cheerlead are team after calling one of their routine "too q. ghetto" a meeting was held between parents administrators and team. first on "fox5"tonight the cheerleaders are speaking out about the couldn't versusy. marina marraco is live with more. marina. >> reporter: tony, controversy continues tonight and the girls were completely dressed in black for that meeting they had tonight with the parents, administrators and as well as principal in question and they say tonight their questions were not answered. routine that has come into question since last week. this video blasterd all over social media sites and the girls say they perform a style referred to as stomp and shake. they say it's a mix between stepping african-american culture as well as cheer. and they say that even though their principal apologized for signature routine at a game last week was "too ghetto" they're not ready to accept that apology until the questions they had tonight are answered. >> we wanted to know why is our style of cheer threaten to the community and who said the ghetto statement because there's a back and forth who said it and do we have to get rid of the cheers we've been doing four plus years and what are the new cheers we have to do to meet the new standards? and the things said to us were they said to others? >> we said our style is hbcu and we' said the way we're cheering is nothing to be proud of and i said that's our culture i'm proud of it he said you should not be. and he said the way our negative cheering to the other team was not welcome and his new standards of springbrook high school athletics. >> once their questions are answered, that's when they'll be ready to end their cheer boycott. but for now they say they will not perform at the next varsity basketball game scheduled for friday. live tonight in silver spring, marina marraco. several changes including capital murder he shot at the officer who was trying to pull him over sunday near georgetown nike great falls and the officer was not injured. police say two teens were also
