debt issues, we have wars overseas, we have jobs to create and he said he's the man that will deal with it at the adult level. >> reporter: why do you think it took two years for him to settle it? it took him a week. he was able to call it off and said i want it, they got him to it in a week. >> i think there is a large part of him that doesn't want to dignify this. and when you think about it, imagine people overseas looking at our politics and they're probably embarrassed for us, where we're thinking if the president is a citizens or not. part of it is embarrassing and use this as an opportunity again to focus the nation's attention on the issues that he and many republicans are addressing. coming up next on the news edge at 6, they put their lives on the line for us every day.
