Police troopers and us marshals were back and forth this morning after this witness that you described saw this man that matched the description of david watson running near a building along dorsi run road. K9 teams and a Maryland State Police blood hound began searching irrigation tunnels and culverts along a track bed where watson may have been hiding, they discover add hard hat and vest were stolen from a trailer in the area. Last friday, david watson escaped into a wooded area and after four days of no sightings, Police Troopers and us marshals moved back into the area in force in an effort to find the man. Police say they tracks that matched the kind of shoes watson was wearing and they discovered packing materials that may have been used as a bed. Lets give you now an update from sherry luellen, the first person for Howard County police we dont know how long he may have been in the tunnel. We do know our blood hound trail took us a few hundred yards beyond the location of that tunnel. So we know that at some point, he went a good distance beyond that location. We dont know when he doubled back around and cam back to the area and entered that tunnel. So we cant be sure how long he might have been there. Looks like he was recently there. Reporter now, a police have been heavily armed in their search, one of the reasons why, is that david more than 100 years for firing a weapon into the home of several officers on the eastern shore. However, in maryland, facing the exact same charges, he was found incompetent to stand trial. So he was being brought here last friday to under go a psychiatric evaluation. According to officials happened around 2 30, a train going from new york to miami hit someone on the tracks and lan road, there were no reports of injuries to passengers or travelers on board that train. Our understanding is that the person struck was killed. To Montgomery County now, police have taken a suspect into custody after a barricade situation in poolsville. The suspect was taken into custody about four hours later, poolsville high was placed on lockdown for a short time but that has been lifted. No injuries were reported. The point being that cars need to be able to sort of talk to each other and also with the infrastructure on the roads. That way, the car is aware of whats going on around it, and it can safely drive, and get people around. And people here in the industry say this is a matter of when.
