data to be clear looks like everything remade associated and in different years there's two rounds of testing that showed elevated levels in waerlt sources it's hard to depringt where it will pop up and it is just one of those examples where a little bit of information is also most as distressing as none at all. during the most recent round of water testing elevated levels of lead were discovered 17 sources in a total of twelve schools that is out of 3700 tests in all. city protocol is to put a water and if head is too high source may be taken out of service and there's a new checking and bar coding system to bet area tract tekts and some schools say they were never notified of this in the first place. >> we were testing and taking action not reporting it and we needed to do that i apologize for that. that has been something we focused on to correct. . >> i'm focusing on how do we never do that again now going forward we're expanding water testing not just water drinking sources but again on all potential drinking sources that could include kitchen sinks and false et cetera in classrooms and outdoor spic et cetera and one of the schools discovered there was no cause for alarm because spigot in janitors closet somewhere children would not come into contact with. this is where more information can help asuede parents fears and recently the department of general services said it will now get all of that water westing done by june 17. really short window here to get it all done. it will post results and remediate what needs to be remediated and also steve and allison says
