this story is that fairfax county police say it really is not that hard to find predators online and they say both boys and girls are equally targeted. and these arrests were the result of a three-someday operation involving fairfax country investigatetors and loudoun country investigators and the fbi. police say they don't want to get too specific about their tactics and they didn't want to tell us specifically where they wer they were active on social media sites and chat rooms and other web sites where they go online and they pose as mi minors. fairfax country police tell us the inappropriate context meaning explicit messages and images start almost as soon as investigators go online. >> this type of owe dependence is per vase every and crosses all boundaries, you know, international boundaries. doesn't know socioeconomic status, race, things like that it does not matter. it's in every community. >> eight men were arrested in this sting. 7 of them were identified anywhere from 20 to 64 years old and we found some are fathers and one is already a registered sex offe tell us there's a total of 25 charges among the eight that were arrested. ranging anywhere from solicitation of minor for prostitution and also drug possession charges as well and indecent liberties online. and again, fairfax county police are in charge of prosecuting all of these men. and live
