to walk to school as well as wait at these bus stops. we're seeing a lot of sidewalks in this type of condition. much of it covered with solid snow and black ice wet it is ice and so you want to queev been frying to take a close look at blossoms here and you can see why the lighter covers are flowering staplings. we're at least a couple hour here into what is the danger zone where the cherry trees can lose up to 90% of mroomz. 4 degrees is mark there. it looks like we're not getting north of 4 until almost 10:00 this morning. it's a question as to how long can they deal with that ultra cold weather before they lose too much of it. and soom of it depends on what stapling again the trees are blooming in. and good news, however, is that the cherries are one of the most early bloomers here but there are cherry trees around the tidal basin that don't bloom until mid april. doesn't mean we will have no they'rery blossoms but early bloomers and machino goes we will see 10% bloom loss at least and not hoping howeversh the cherry blossom festival runs for several weeks. so, people will still be able to come out and enjoy the festivities and we'll still be able to come and enjoy some of the blooms here. but you know we really just don't know at this point. i'm not seeing what would be visible damage and no grouping and i think we'll have to wait until above freezing and see
