near the milwaukee river. at this point... officers won't confirm what the response is about... but we did see one person in handcuffs and a damaged vehicle. officers had the east and westbound lanes of capitol drive closed for nearly an hour right on the shorewood, milwaukee a new business is serving as a beacon of hope in the sherman park neighborhood. a local buisness owner... joey gudgeon is building a business in the heart of the community where violence broke out nearly two months ago.he's transforming an empty spot on fond du lac avenue, near 36th street - into a new george webb. joey spent 10-years in and out of prison... and was addicted to drugs for more than 15 years. he wants to show young people that it's never too late to somewhere, and i get a little money, i'm going to brown deer police show the moment a police officer was forced to shoot two dogs, attacking teen girls. brown deer michael kass says his responding officer could immediately see the two teens were in danger... and knew he had to step in. ive been a law enforcement officer for almost 30 years and ive never seen an incident this horrific by two dogs police tell us the pit bulls lived with one of the girls, and began attacking her inside the home. she tried to escape, and that's when the dogs went after her friend. the girls suffered serious injuries. one dog died at the scene, the police are still looking for suspects involved in a possible armed robbery at the walmart near holton on capitol. we first brought you this story on daybreak yesterday morning. police say four suspects went into the store claiming they had weapons.they stole several t-v's and drove off in a minivan.police later recovered the stolen televisions and arrested one suspect.they're continuing to search for the 620 wtmj's charlie sykes announced he will step away from the microphone at year's end. the conservative commentator has been on the air in milwaukee january, sykes will be succeeded by fellow conservative talker jeff wagner. a new plan in the works hopes to tear down the estabrook dam. it involves the city zoning that land and selling it to the metropolitan milwaukee sewerage district for crash in kenosha the crash this afternoon in the town of randall.according to early reports: the plane was going to chicago from burlington when it developed engine problems and crashed into a corn field.the 72-year- old pilot was not injured. 73-year-old wisconsin man is being held in connection with the stabbing death of his 75-year-old sister.police say james bonczkowski stabbed his sister
