At one point i lived downtown up until when i moved out to lake country about ten years ago. Its beautiful. And i love that you guys use drones for this video. Because it really gives you a perspective not only on how beautiful it is, but just the space and all of the reasons it is so great so close to the water, to the lake. And beautiful views as we look at this, what types of downtown listings do you guys have . I think there is a mix. You have some of the third ward, some along prospect along the lake. Some right downtown in that drone video you are seeing, that is right next to where the construction is for the new bucks stadium. That building is great and that drone shows the view which is what a lot of people look for is the view. Too. People coming from outoftown love those options and we love to present those options in drone videos are really an essential part to selling that. Oh, yeah i would think. For potential people coming to town absolutely. What about storage and parking. In our wisconsin weather, i feel like people need to have parking. Interesting enough, some of the buildings you can buy additional parking or additional storage, we had a couple buildings that were hard to sell early, the history goes all the way back to 98 and 99 when they were converting Old Buildings into condos and now they have built a lot of New Buildings and with those New Buildings, additional parking, additional storage. Can you buy boat slips, storage, parking within the building for instance, the unit you buy only has one parking spot you can buy additional park spots. We have talked before on the and where inventory was kind of low and demand was very high. Im wondering about the downtown real estate market. I dont really have a feel or sense for that. What is it like . Its mixed. You have a shortage of some in the middle and a little bit of extra at the top and a little extra at the bottom. You mean price wise . Price wise. I think what is happening you saw an explosion of condos right before the market crashed now the market is back and its Getting Better and i think those are starting toel starting to go up. I think the market still is figuring itself out in a good way. I think that the downtown markets really booming compared to how it has in the past. And were excited about that thats why were focused on it. Youre seeing people who are buying like we were talking about earlier you may have a house in the suburbs or as close as whitefish bay, but yet you want a downtown condo so if you go out you have a close place to recommends . They can. Most rentals. There they can. Most of them allow rentals, but you should always check to make sure the association allows for rentals. I believe there is a shortage of them downtown. I believe if you did have a can condo for rent it would go fairly quickly if you priced it right. Yeah. We are a little behind compared to other cities with rentals. We havent gotten into give people the inside scoop what should you be looking for when you are looking for a condo downtown third ward east side. The most important thing is view. To me. I notice view as one of the most important things. Amenities. Proximity to restaurants, bars. Things to do. Easy freeway access. People who live downtown may not work downtown. Im an example of that. I think those are probably the condo fees can be essential too. And how new the building is and some of the things the unit has. I know when i was just looking to rent condos just the fact that many of them have their own gym you can wipe out that cost you dont have a membership free. So a lot of times all of those amenities add up to the point you save money in other areas. Right. Gas, all of that. You guys are planning a new location downtown youre looking for new agencies right . Thats correct. Whether they be new agents or existing agents we have a offer through our company. This is the original house of the jones family made their first sausage. I know. The family has been here for 127 years they are a six generation family that settled here in the 1830s. Thats when this home was built. The original founder started making sausage. Certified gluten free, no fillers, binders , hormones nothing. Were so excited to have the same recipe we started with so long ago. Right here thats the farmhouse that is on the National Register for Historic Places right . It successful were very excited to have this space. What types of food does Jones Dairy Farm make . We not only make sausages thats what were best known for, but we also make bacon cant you smell that smell there is Nothing Better than that. This is dry aged Hickory Smoked and cherrywood smoked bacon. You have it on parchment paper. Yes its really easy to clean up. We make liver sausages, canadian bacon and for the Holiday Season ham. The founder had gotten arthritis and couldnt walk. He realized he couldnt dairy farm anymore so he probably had to find Something Else so he started to sell his moms sausage recipe to neighbors and Community Members and the business was born. Thats the original wheelchair. Amongst that there is lots of other iconic historic family through and see it all. One of the things i thought was cool you showcase all of the heritage with local items from other places. We just focus on wisconsin family owned businesses so you are going to see jellies and jams, honeys and rubs and we have this beautiful cheesecake full of wisconsin creamery products. There is juices, cedar crest ice cream. I know. I wouldnt have thought about getting ice cream here in the middle of buying my, canadian were right on the bike path so ice cream just fits.
