perquimans county middle school teacher -- is accused of luring a man into his home and sexually assaulting him this week. newschannel 3s nadeen yanes has the details. 41 year old darrell walker who has been teaching in front of students at perquimans middle school since october is now behind bars -- accused of sexually assaulting s man he lured into his home newly hired perquimans county superintendent matt cheesman got the news yesterday -- on this 16th day on the job. 25:49 i think it )s very disappointing today he s reassuring parents this sex crime did not involve any 26:15 a laptop. there are more details in the search warrant too graphic to report. superintendent cheesman adds there has never been any other allegations against walker like this before. when asked if latest charges. nicholas thompson is now facing an "unlawful wounding" charge. but -- this is not a new charge -- it stems from when he was first arrested for assaulting his mistress. former suffolk police officer nicholas thompson is already sitting in jail for the next two years -- after he plead guilty to assaulting his mistress, tiffany valentine. when he assaulted her -- thompson was also charged with strangulation. yesterday -- that charge was amended to "unlawful wounding" -- and he was directly indicted. meaning -- the former police officer could end up spending even (more time in custody. court documents say -- valentine told police thompson started choking her during a fight, almost making her black out. she ran to the bedroom to get away -- according to the court paperwork -- that s when thompson came in with a gun and put it to her head. those details may sound familiar... nicholas was originally arrested a year and a half ago for attacking his now estranged wife. she told police thompson pulled out his police-issued gun -- and pointed it to her head and said quote i )m going to kill you. those charges were eventually dropped.. but least two years. thompson is will spend at least 25 years in prison. marc harding pleaded guilty to one count of second-degree murder. officials say harding assaulted and killed thomas parson. according to police his cause of trauma to the head. harding later confessed to beating parson with a baseball bat. an arrest today-- after a robbery in the parking lot of a virginia beach mcdonalds. marcus turner, darren mccoy, and donte salley have all been charged for the robbery. police tell us-- the three men had arranged to meet a man at the mcdonalds on bonney road, to buy a cellphone from him last night. officials say-- the men got into an argument and the victim knocked to the ground. police say the men took his phone -- but he was able to fire his gun at them. no one was hurt. the men ran away, and police arrested them today. police want to remind anyone selling items through sites like craigslist to use a safe location -- like a police station to conduct the transaction. a man charged with 10 counts of embezzlement in isle of wight county, entered a not guilty plea this morning in court. augustine acheampong, is accused of scamming several smithfied highschool students out of thousands of dollars after he was hired as a travel agent to plan a trip to europe. today he entered a not guilty plea on all 10 counts. his attorney says they hope to make a deal with prosecutors before his next court appearance in may. and says his client is prepared to pay back the students. norfolk police need you to take action against crime. they are searching for the people who robbed a pizza delivery driver
