I love that this book came about from people like me asking you, whats your secret . All the time. Its not a secret. Theres though secret. It takes a lot of work. Think thats the thing. For me, its more about how to you motivate women to want that to be a part of their lifestyle. Because sit discipline. But it also has to come from each different aspect of your life. Its not just one thing. No its mental and physical sflp meditation is baig part of it. You said its made you a more patient parent. We could all use that. It helps. Im definitely not always patient. But, it does help. It helps in a lot of ways. Tool. Now theres too Much Research around it to not visit be part of, most peoples especially our kids lives. I think, i think the sanity of trying the stay as frouped as possible, sort of what it does to your body and your brain is it starts to just alleviate the stress hormones. Thats a huge part of so much issue whether it be illness, holding on to weight. And i think thats where meditation is really helpful in terms of scientifically. So. You said, when youre kind to yourself, its how you treat other people. How you treat yourself is how you treat other people. I think so. Its a domino effect. I think women are hard on themselves too. Were predisposed to be hard on ourselves. And, i would like to see that start to be alleviated. Me, too. Me, too. Theres nothing to be hard on yourself about the cover of self magazine. You look simply fantastic. I want to show everybody. You dont work out every day. You dont beat yourself up when you take break. Its hard to believe you take a break when you see those. Its hard to do it every day. It makes me happy. Being active is a it makes me feel better. Those endorphins, right . A lot of women dont was instilled in me when i was young. But it is never too late to start the process of enjoying what it feel like feeling strong. You write about advice, a lot that your mom, goldie gave you. Shes my teacher. I was blessed to have shes a bunch of things. Obviously, shes an amazing actress. But more than that, shes a really inspiring woman. And shes also a dancer. She started off as a dancer. Activity, health, she was on the cutting edge of green juice before she inspired a lot of the food well show you how you eat. I dont know if she inspished this. She inspired Healthy Eating habits. Shes about to become amy schumers mom. How is that going to feel . I cant wait. Shes not worked in 14 years on because shes not found the right role. That, and shes been working on a mindup curriculum. This is making sure you get in all the food groups. And this is sort of the aruveydic way to do it. The sweet, the sour, the astringent and the pungent. The greens. The bitter, a lot of the bitter. A lot of the bitter. And then you want to add, we dont necessarily want the i went for the salty. Why not . The sweet, you get it in the foods. And meet, and nuts. And oils. And then, the astringent is drying. This is important. Green tea. A lot of people probably leave this out. We dont eat enough beans and proe teens. I love pink grapefruit. And then pungent. Spices. I do a lot of, i talk about the diet a lot. You have questionnaire. You get to fill out a bunch of stuff.
