front runner had another security scare. you can see a protester rush the stage. police arrested the man and charged him with misconduct. trump will be in rickly tomorrow morning ahead of the north carolina primary. since then, his website now lists that he will be at lenoir- the school released a statement saying it received the request from trump and they intend to honor it as long as there is proper security. a number of presidential candidates will be in the carr let area over the next couple of days. ted cruz will be at charlotte motor speedway this afternoon for an event. it begins at 2:00 and tomorrow hillary clinton and bernie sanders will both be in charlotte. sanders will be be at the pnc music pavilion while clinton will be at the poll center just outside of uptown. former president bill clinton university today. he will be campaigning for his wife hillary. the get out the vote event starts at 3:45. the former president will be at ashville high school tonight just before 7:00 and tomorrow bill clinton will host an event in greenville, north carolina. with just two days before five states including north carolina hold their crucial primary elections, cnn is hosting a prime time democratic town hall tonight. university and both hillary clinton and bernie sanders will attend. voters at the polls yesterday for republican caucuses. marco rubio won pages. police need your help finding a suspect wanted in two bank robberies in cabarrus county. those robberies happened just ten minutes apart yesterday. the first was at the wells fargo on highway 39 south at 10:45. ten minutes later the fifth third bank on highway 49 south was robbed. these are surveillance pictures you can see right there he has sunglasses on in both of the robberies but wearing different clothing. anyone with information is asked to call police. new developments in a deadly officer involved shooting in raleigh. a lawyer for the family of akiel ken kins shows that he the terror attacks. he felt uneasy with the backstage security guard and six guards failed to show up that night. hughes says his claims are now unfounded and he is taking responsible for them. he was on stage when gunmen stormed that venue. the band escaped unharmed. in the attack at that venue. flash flood watches and warnings have been issued for six states. from louisiana to tennessee water is up to two feet in some parts. more than 1,000 homes have been flooded with more threatened. national guard crews have rescued 2100 people in five days. in covington, louisiana a family says water was continue through the evening and we will wind down later tonight but more rain is expected for monday. it's a warm start. 60s. going through the afternoon not quite as warm as yesterday. but still warmer than average in the lower 70s. best chance for seeing any storms will be after midday. this evening if you have plans, we'll keep the threat for some lingering showers and it will be on the mild side in the 60s. your neighborhood forecast for monroe, we will see off and on showers. some thunderstorms possible after around noon. and then highs today get into the lower 70s. the best chance for seeing rain will be in the mountains. i'll have your neighborhood forecast for jefferson coming up in the next half hour. monday's drive we're looking at the threat for showers but that went arrive until the evening as well in the 70s. the main threats right now just seeing some rain and rainfall totals staying less than half an inch here in the charlotte area. the heaviest rain in the mountains. that is where we could see up to an inch. this is through tomorrow night. we certainly need that rainfall. we will be seeing it today and tomorrow as well. not going to be a washout though. if you have plans outdoors today, might be able to get a window with outdoor activities. once the rain clears, we're looking at sunshine, low 80s for tuesday and wednesday. a few showers possible for at 7:38. also tracking some light rain in the mountains coming in from the southwest. moving off to the northeast. rain covered roads right along 221 in boone and jefferson as well. just keep your rain gear handy. and it is going to be another warm day. we are starting the day off in the upper 50s and low 60s right now. highs for today still warmer than average in the lower 70s. we do have the an update on when you will see more coming up in a bit. a search is under way for a tug boat and two missing crew members after a crash on the hudson river. authorities say the boat sank after crashing into a barge yesterday. it was one of three boats pushing a barge down the hudson. one crew members body has been recovered. two others are still missing but presumed dead. police are using sonar before sending divers in. there are new concerns over what happens to your checked baggage the at airport. and it is shocking. it show two baggage handlers stealing right out of suitcases. orlando police say david diaz looked as the lookout. both men were arrested and pleaded no contest to the charges. experts say you should always keep your valuables with you and also consider wrapping throughout the day today. to take you through future cast as the showers come closer to the i-77 corridor we will see the rain closer to 10:00-11:00 starting in charlotte. and also could see heavy rain at times. as we go throughout the afternoon, more spotty showers possibly some isolated storms as well. it's not going to be a washout today. it will not be raining all day. but any point today punch. so keep an eye to the skies as well. so a few showers possible tomorrow. we'll be warmer in the 70s. five-day forecast shows today and tomorrow the best chance of rain this week. and tuesday basketball, another 30 are on the step team that pumps up the crowd. mix in parents, teachers, and friends and it gets loud. but these students deserve to make some noise. >> yeah. over 50 kids on our basketball league. >> it gives me chance to hang out with friends and also it's a challenge to play against the other teams. >> fun and i get to be around my friends. and you get to learn new things.
