>> i had to lose weight. i changed my eating habits. i worked out three times a day sometimes. had a trainer in atlanta. i worked at a gym here in brooklyn. and philly. i really didn't prepare like it was an acting role. i prepared like i was a boxer. >> you're too young to remember this -- >> i was alive, but i didn't see the actual fight. it's gone down in history. there was great deal of conflict between the two of them and a great deal of intimidation went into the first and second fight both ways. >> so many great fighters of the time. it was in my opinion other than the ali era, it was the heyday >> that weight class was a serious one. an amazing story for latin america and latinos all over to show their support. it's an amazing story for latinos. >> when you went to sugar ray leonard and talked to him, was there one thing you were looking for to get the character?
