school delays to start your day. take a look at your screen, spotsylvania and stafford all starting two hours late. >> in west virginia, jefferson, hampshire and hardy counties on two-hour delays. we did the homework to check whether your kids will have to spend any extra time because of the snow days this year, starting in virginia, fairfax, arlington all used eight days so far. they had eight days built into the calendar. none planning to make up those days right now. alexandria, the school district planning to change two teacher work days. and d.c. public schools extending by one extra day. and maryland, montgomery county schools adding two calendar days. prince george's county has two days to make up but they're waiting until the end of winter to decide what to do. homeowners are facing higher taxes to fund schools in f county. but it may not be enough to keep all schools going. erika gonzalez with more. >> reporter: hi, good morning. i want to show you a look at the scene last night. this is definitely a contentious deba debate. a rally with student performances to stop the cuts to school funding, leaving programs like music, language and sports in jeopardy. the county and career planning courses for kids. in addition, $5 million will pay to extend the school year for students in some neighborhoods. today, the fight to get better wages for contractor workers at reagan national airport will get a little star power. act actor danny glover will be at the airport. glover will meet with workers to discuss wages and to help them fight for $15 an hour and the right to form a union. coming up a ever rented from airbnb, that popular site that lets people runt out their homes. in virginia, the site may soon be recognized and regulated. both the senate and house passed legislation to allow virginia homeowners to rent their homes through the site. it also sets up procedures for airbnb to pay taxes. the company favors it saying it will boost tax revenue. if you smoke in maryland, it may cost you more. maryland lawmakers are discussing a plan that would raise the state's tobacco cash on a pack of cigarettes by an extra dollar. to $3 on a pack of cigarettes. the law would increase taxes on other tobacco products. the house ways and means will take a closer look in annapolis. the bill will require $20 million in funding to go to a tobacco preference program. a florida teen is in big trouble after opening a practice and posing as a dock second time. 18-year-old malachite robinson opened a practice in palm beach. police say he gave physical exams
