Bus drive sarz they have been upset about their pay for some time. They want some action here. According to Southern Maryland news, School Bus Drivers say their pay, which ranges around 17 to 19 bucks an hour that pay does not match up with the high cost of living in Charles County. So the School System is warning parents that drivers will take kids to school today, but in the afternoon, drivers may call out sick. That means schools will have to scramble to find a solution. There is a hot line that parents can call today to keep informed about what is going on. The School Superintendent says kids will get home no matter what. Here is what you need to know today. Schools will remain staffed until all kids are home. The schools here are in contact with extra bus drivers who can be called in to get students home and parents should call a hot line to stay informed. The School System says that it is going to be working, staying in contact with the drivers and all kids will get home today. They say a man was killed near the intersection of g street and 24th street in northeast washington last night. Theyre looking for three suspects now. Police are investigating the death, but not as a homicide. New information about an attack on a Montgomery CountyPolice Officer earlier this month. Police charged this man with hitting an officer with his car. They say the officer tried to pull over lenard slaughter two weeks ago.
