The veteran officer and father of four was shot and killed after calling for backup by three men he called suspicious. We know that schools are closed. Today, well be live at the hearing of Six Police Officers charged in the death of freddie gray. Theyre facing charges of assault, murder and for one, depraved heart murder in this case. The motions will have a major impact on their trial. The big one whether to remove states attorney Marilyn Mosley from the case. Officers believe shes biased against them. Lawyers for the officers want the trial moved for that same reason. They also want their charges dismissed. Prosecutors dont believe that will happen. The judge will consider whether to try the officers together in one trial or separately. The trial is scheduled for next month. Today, baltimore Police Officers are not allowed to take leave as theres several protests planned. Several occupant groups said they plan to gather outside. Courthouse.
