At one point a full ground stop was in effect. Somewhere close to 50 flights were canceled at dulles and reagan. A good number of flights set to leave bwi at 6 00 p. M. Did not take off until after midnight. Its 5 03. Two big fires are burning right now. Both are out west. Hundreds of acres on fire in new mexico and southern california. There are also lots of evacuations under way. Were just getting new details on those wildfires that are spreading out west. Now that means that the two stations in between those points potomac avenue and stadium armory, they will close down entirely until the work is done. The hope here is that the work that will be done will make the system more reliable, safer, and certainly well see a lot of headaches as work goes forward. As of today the district says it has no confirmed cases of any of those viruses. We want to make certain that things that are of concern and being able to report that to the public. Again, for Public Safety and also for confidence in where we currently stand. The testing on mosquitos is done in d. C. s forensic lab. Doctors showed us it found one potential positive case but they are not sure which virus it is yet.
