>> thank you. if you ran in yesterday's marine corps marathon, waking up today might be a little difficult. >> can you imagine? the fastest runner finished the 26.2 miles in under three miles snl. >> no problem. >> that included this one. she finished first for the women with the unofficial time of just over two hours and 51 minutes and for the second time, samuel of kansas won the marine corps marathon. he finished the finish line in two hours 23 minutes and 52 seconds. some people it takes them that long to tie their came here to do the best. >> i won't eat much until my stomach settles. >> this story won people's heart. daniella may not have won the marathon but she ran the entire 26.2 miles in full firefighting gear. that is 60 pounds and she did this to honor a fellow firefighter who was killed in i posted the story on my facebook page and a lot of people are saying what an incredible woman she is. she did this for somebody who a affected her life. >> pretty awesome. did the head of the fbi break the law? >> donald trump says he thinks this is the treasure trove of the missing clinton e-mails we have not seen and they're absolutely jumping on this, hoping that it might be able to certainly gain him some leverage eight days before this election. >> tracie potts on the hill for us, going to be a long week here, tracie, see you in a bit. it is iraq's military has liberated 61 villages from isis in the operation to reclaim mosul. iraq's defense ministry released a video with what appears to be an air strike on the suspected isis position near mosul. iraqi soldiers are now about 20 miles from mosul. today the man accused of killing a wedding caterer is due kempton bonds said he was acting in self defense. the 19-year-old was granted bond last week. his attorneys say cell phone recordings prove the former park employee had been threatened by johns and her friends during a fight over chairs after a wedding. nearly two dozen nascar fans were injured after being hit by a car. virginia state police say it happened during yesterday's race at the martinsville speedway. a person leaving the race tried to pass another vehicle waiting that is when the fans were hit. most of the injuries were minor but nine people were taken to two hospitals. police did take the driver into custody. no word on any charges. a family is asking for help paying for the funeral of a maryland grandmother killed until a hit and run. kim more died saturday after her car was rear ended. she was driving her daughter and grandson to a halloween party. the driver who hit them ran away but was later caught. along with moore's daughter. her grandson is okay. we posted a link to the go fund me account for moore's family on the nbc washington website. d.c. police are not playing tricks with a tweet. they are searching for two robbery suspects in custom at third and u street. the suspect's description include a man dressed as a turtle. a second man was dressed in a skeleton suit. police are also looking for a woman in her 20s. this surveillance video raising that question. prince william police released this video. it shows two men shoving a man into a trunk of a car. jumping inside, and then driving off. police say the video is from about 10:00 friday night at the walmart on worth avenue in woodbridge. it is possible the men were just joking around. a house fire mystery is developing this morning in their home was destroyed in a fire. neighbors say they heard people screaming that they were trapped inside yesterday morning but firefighters searched the rubble for hours and say there are no signs of any human remains. >> it is scary not knowing if they were home or what. i'm just, i'm just keeping them in my prayers that they got out safe. >> no one has heard from anyone who lives there since the fire started. their truck is still parked track them down. michigan is spending $25 million to get hundreds of homes new water pipes in flint. nearly 800 homes will receive the new pipes as part of an initiative to restore clean drinking water there. students at wayne state university will test the water before and after new pipes go in as part of a national institutes of health study. northern virginia commuters, listen up. expect changings at the park and the surface lot will be temporarily closed for construction which means you may need to find a new place to park. the pick up location will be relocated to the level one of the parking garage. fairfax county is urging commuters use the reston south park and ride instead. part of the walking trail is open in northeast washington. the new extension extends the trail from brening road trails in maryland with 10 miles of existing trials along the anacostia river in d.c. we think that would be a nice ride, a nice run, that extended trail, i'm just thinking -- >> it is lovely. >> it is nice to see in pictures?
