He headed to a spot a few miles away and believed to have shot two others. Police believe hawes snapped when he found out his wife was divorcing him. Some of the victims were related to the suspects family. Residents at an apartment complex in glover park are shocked after a woman was found stabbed to death. Police were called about a suspicious package but ended up finding the woman dead inside a fifth floor apartment. They say she was visiting 59yearold Charles Sykes who lives in the complex. Sykes was arrested and investigators now are still trying to figure out a motive. New concern this morning about raising d. C. s minimum wage, and this is coming from some employees who worry the wage hike could actually cost them money. Talking about tip wage workers like those in hospitality who currently make 2. 7 an hour in addition to tichs received. Thats a quarter of the current minimum wage. If the tip wage goes up to 7. 50 that could force employers to scale back on staffing. Instead many propose the tip wage be raced to about 3. 75. To cut jobs, reduce shifts, and shorten shifts. A developing story out of ohio this morning. The search continues this morning for a man suspected of killing eight members of the same family. Seven adults and a teenage boy were shot and killed in four different houses in a small town east of cincinnati yesterday. Police say right now they are a 4dayold child and two other children were also in the houses during the shootings. They were not hurt. I mean, you know, the one the one mom apparently was killed in her bed with the 4dayold right there. Police say right now there is no clear motive, but they believe the family was targeted. A blatant political move designed to help Hillary Clinton win the white house. Thats what Virginia House speaker calls the governors decision to restore Voting Rights to felons who have done their time. Republican speaker william howe set the governor was clearly changing rules to help clinton run for president. On friday, mcauliffe announced changes regarding felons. The governor says its about restoring civil rights. No longer build barriers to the ballot box. We will break them down. That there was no consideration of the the criminal activities that have been done by the convicted felons. That was speaker howell. He will see if the General Assembly can take action. The epa estimates as many as 10 million buildings in this country may be getting water through a pipe that is at least partially made of lead. Its older communities that may have more of a problem than, for example, a water system built completely in the last few decades. Reporter lead is not just in pipes. Its in old faucets and in the solder that bonds pipes together. So should you test your water . Lead is not good for anyone, but a particular risk to small developing children and pregnant women.
