So well get a nice break from the cold weather throughout the day today, but then winter storm watch this whole area in blue including Northern Virginia metro area forring a accumulating snow tomorrow. Got winter storm warnings being issued to or east and up into pennsylvania and farther to our west winter storm warnings out for the months. Likely the blue area will be transferred over to a warning here later today as well getting a accumulating snow developing around this time tomorrow morning and through the day on thursday. Jesse matthews defense team will ask for a continuance. Murder trial slated to start june 29. Matthew is also facing sex assault and attempted murder charges in Fairfax County. That trial set to start in early june. Also today, a man accused and cleared of molesting two girls at his home in Northern Virginia will be back in court. A judge expected to set a date for michael gardners retrial. Hes accused of molesting the girls at his daughters sleepover back in 2011. The state Supreme Court overturned his conviction because character evidence was wrongly excluded from his defense. Today Montgomery County man is facing Involuntary Manslaughter charges and he ladies to court. James chandler facing the charges after a fatal crash last week. The snow moves in by 10 00, 10 30. And then it stays snow all throughout most of the region through the afternoon and finally the snow tapers off and pds, pulls away by around 8 00 or 9 00. In the evening. So it will be a long term thing. Well have eight plus inches of snow. North and west of the metro area. And well have a little bit less farther to the north up near the pennsylvania border. 4 to 8 inches in the metro area.
