Race and i think that really is what makes this race special. There are people who have never run a marathon before, spent months preparing to come out here. They get a tremendous reception. Well organized race. Were proud of that. They feel they accomplished one of the most significant things they have ever done in their lives. This is a Family Affair for you too. Youre watching. In addition took there in my capacity as a marine im here as a dad. My daughter is running the marathon. My wife finished the 10k. What is it like for people who served, the hand cyclists weve seen riding for people who lost their lives and also those who served and representing all branches of the military. Again for our wounded warriors, they said some day im going to go out there and do the marathon. Spent two or thee years of recovery with a goal to complete the marine corps marathon. I havent been training as hard this year. I was kind of scared that i wasnt going to do as well. But i think the weather really helped. I think the weather and like i said my strategy working with some guys that were a little bit faster than me at times. Reporter she averages about 15 Miles Per Hour as she cycles through this finish line here. They all come barreling through here. Its mazing to see them fly across this finish line. The folks who are holding the flags all of them have a very special connection to somebody who died, who passed away in service and we caught up with christina beckett.
