Developing right now, were learning a 21yearold man found dead in the Potomac River was murdered by gang members. Prince William County arrest arrested five people for the rd police say he was killed for posing as an ms 13 gang leaders and also revealed 15yearold Alexandra Reyes was the last person to see him alive. It was through the investigation into his death that police were able to solve her murder. She was found dead in springfield earlier this month. In southeast washington, Police Officers spent the morning scouring tal bert street for evidence. The suspect rammed the officers cruiser as he got out during a traffic stop. The officer shot at the suspect as the car drove off. It is not clear whether anyone was hit. The officer was taken to the hospital. Northbound 295 after a crash that really tied up traffic this morning. Our crews were at the scene as drivers were being diverted most of the morning. Several cars were involved in this crash just after 3 00 a. One person had to be taken to the hospital. But its not clear what it was that led up to that crash. One driver told us there was a lot of debris in the roadway causing police to close that side of the highway. I murder in frederick, maryland happened between two neighbors in the same apartment complex on west south street last night. Men both lived there and police say there was some kind of incident that started in an apartment and went outside. After the shooting harriday locked himself in the garage and turned himself a few hours after that. He was charged with two counts of murder along with weapons charges. Two people escaped a fire but its not clear when theyll be able to get back inside this home. These flames seen all down the road in fort washington. If you live in that area you may still be able to smell that smoke. The fire spread to the garage and looks like it left a lot of damage behind. Fairfax county five says the 5yearold died in the house fire on tuesday night. Investigators say that he started the fire while playing with a lighter in the garage. His mom and two neighbors, a retired firefighter and offduty firefighter tried to rescue him but flames made it impossible. Two dogs and two pet birds were also in the fire.
