Baltimore Police OfficerWilliam Porter will be compelled to testify in all of the trials over freddie grays death. A lower court ruled that he would have to testify and the Maryland Court of appeals, the highest court in the state upheld that ruling. Six Police Officers were charged. Porters trial ended in a hung jury last year. The other officers faced charges for assault and depraved heart murder for grays death. Breaking new development. The officers just released the naples. 26yearold 23yearold. Both shot in that third floor apartment behind me with children inside. Jones 5yearold saw what happened. Police evidence taped to the door of apartment 301 after a deadly night. Two women shot and pronounced dead here at the scene. Just found out and i just came over. Reporter this woman who didnt want to show her face on camera said her cousin is one of the women murdered described in her 20s who lived here with her three young children. Beautiful, loved her kids, i spent a lot of time with them. Reporter its possible the children saw the deadly turn of events since they were inside at the time. I heard three loud bangs. Reporter the 911 call came in around 10 30 last night. Shots fired at the apartments. This man lived on the third floor. A loud, you know, banging sound. Security door has people who live here frustrated and angry. This is a security door. It sure aint much security. Reporter but its uncertain if that would have stopped killer. Its sad. People take an innocent life. People dont value life anymore. Its really sad. Reporter at this point Prince Georges County police dont believe that this was random. The police say the shooter shot both of the women, and then left. We spoke with two young women who say theyre in class, they go to class with jericka jones. The fire chief reinstated both men, captain james kelly and virgil bloom were placed on leave for taking a child, a little girl to the hospital on a fire engine rather than waiting for an ambulance. The firefighters say the ambulance was 15 minutes s away and the child needed help immediately. Captain kelley said he was surprised for being rep panhandle reprimanded. I was surprised.
