The grand jury indicted officer Juan Hernandez on charges of assault and misconduct in office. They did that today. The suspect was running from the officers through a field last summer when hernandez hit him with his car. Prosecutors say his actions were excessive. The grand jury said his actions were criminal. Hernandez has been suspended since that incident back in june. There was a metro Board Meeting today and it was not a happy place to be. Metro wants to cut eight hours of service per week saying it will lead to more maintenance repairs. But local leaders are worried the system will not serve its riders.
