The Home Health Care aide who works at the house told news 4 that the two men who live there are developmentally disabled. The driver of the suv was another aide who was leaving after finishing her shift. The two men were in their bedrooms when the crash happened. Nobody was seriously injured, bu residents have had to find another place to stay for a few days. No word yet on exactly what caused that crash. There was a ceremony today to remember former d. C. Mayor marion barry. He died two years ago today at the age of 78. As we report now, a memorial headstone was unveiled to honor his public life and service. . . Reporter on the grounds of large private ceremony drew family, friends and city leaders to see the new headstone for marion barry who died two years ago today. It marks his four terms as mayor, time on the d. C. Council, and his civil rights background. In the district, tom sherwood, news 4. Investigators are looking over clues in a Deadly School bus crash. This comes as new questions emerge about why that driver was riding a different rout. Its a miracle hes alive. A maryland man describes the moment a truck was barreling were learning new details tonight about that Deadly School bus crash in chattanooga. Investigators now say the street on which that accident happened was not even on the bus drivers designated route. Theyre also having trouble downloading video from three cameras inside the bus because of all the damage. Vehicular homicide. Johnthony walker did not have drugs or alcohol in his system at the time of the crash. State records show he received his license to drive a school bus in april. Five months later, he was involved in a minor bus accident. Nobody was injured. One mother says shes made several complaints about walker. Every day they come home, they complaining about the school bus. Ive been calling complaining about this bus august. I called the board of education. And i called the school. That mother lost her 6yearold daughter in the crash. Her two older children were hurt. Tonight, six children remain hospitalized, five of them in critical condition. Last friday, police say it was a Traffic Accident near library of congress. Officers questioned the man who did not have a proper vehicle permit. Police say the guy became combative and broke a seat belt while being transported. Then yesterday Capitol Police arrested a person for hitting a cruiser with a piece of luggage. That happened near the capitol. Police say the damage to the cruiser was significant. Extra security measures are in place in new york city ahead of tomorrows macys thanks giving day parade. His wife, cindy, believes someone up there was watching over him. I believe we have people close to us that weve lost, i believe they were with him and i just believe that they knew that we needed quinn here. I needed quinn and there were two angels that just that it wasnt his day. Quinns sister, lynn, and my dad, peter. Reporter Maryland State Police are investigating the cause of the accident. The truck driver was cited with negligent driving and several suspended driving charges. Yeah. Reporter thanksgiving starts tonight at the burroughs home. It happened at a Convenience Store on benning road northeast earlier this month. One of the guys forced an employee to open the register then hit him in the head with a gun. But officers are warning partygoers that if you drink and drive, theyre prepared to pull you over.
