For the second time in a month, an employee has been arrested for carrying a gun inside the headquarters of the department of Homeland Security right here in d. C. Scott macfarlane has the latest. His name is Thomas Pressley and was accused of carrying a gun in one of americas most secured facilities. Security officers stopped Thomas Pressley during a random security streening. Court records say he had a Homeland Security officials confirmed the arrest to news4 and said there was no evidence that the employee sought to do harm and that security and screening measures had been enhanced before the screening.
