This is the second time in a month that this hats happened. Charged with a crime and jailed until he appears in court on friday. Our Scott Macfarlane broke this story. Scott . The employee is Thomas Pressley, an i. T. Contractor. Security officers, the department of Homeland Security headquarters say they found the gun when they gave pressley a random employee screening on monday. Federal records say this massive complex is the same level of the u. S. Pentagon and white house. But for the second time in four weeks, investigators found a worker inside carrying a gun. Police and Court Records say that Thomas Pressley had a firearm in his bag, a smith and wesson. 9 millimeter capable of being fired by a single hand. Homeland Security Officials confirmed the arrest and said there was no evidence that the employee sought to do harm. This comes weeks after news4 reported another employees arrest, a worker who lives in this home. They raided his home and found him at his desk with a. 22 caliber handgun and it was loaded our report in that case got the attention of the u. S. Congress. One of the deputies of the u. S.
