They operated a Company Called microenterprise management shortterm loans to people in developing countries. And they recruited investors by emphasizing that Christian Mission and guaranteed rates of return. But investigators say those rates of return were false. What was actually happening was money that was invested was being used for risky trading on Foreign Exchange currency markets and options tradings. The profits and the money from that investment were being used to fund expenses. Now the minister and the other woman are being held and back in court later this week for a hearing on their status.
