In 93, president clinton signed the brady handgun violence prevention act requiring a fiveday wait and a background check before someone could purchase a gun. No, i never had any physical contact with Maureen Mcdonnell, period. Williams testimony goes against what the defense has been saying, that Maureen Mcdonnell had a crush on Johnny Williams. The williams testimony today seems to undercut a cornerstone of the defense. Williams says, a, there was nothing there, b, he goes further and says there was no indication, there was no physical relationship, there was no intimate relationship, beyond that that mrs. Goldberg lives in potomac and is charged with two downs of attempted murder. 14 people are recovering this afternoon from an Early Morning Apartment Fire here in frederick. Four of them were taken to burn centers for treatment. Three of them, a mother and her two children are in critical condition. Sheriffs deputies say a woman was jogging on the trail around 7 00 this morning when she was knocked to the ground and assaulted. She says the man wound up running off the trail, just a few moments later. Authorities are working to get a better description of exactly who this attacker is.
