What i can tell you is that this light show went on for hours. Local Fire Departments received numerous calls for reports of lightning strikes, but so far no major damage has been reported. Now, with that lightning came gusty winds, as we saw in some video shot in silver springs. Some fairly large hail. The rain came in bands and took some by surprise because it followed an afternoon of very sunny weather. Insane hail. Tremendous wind. And a lot of rain. And seeing the lightning and how quickly everything just converged here was incredible. Reporter and we are told that right now, there are about 2,000 people, 2,000 customers, excuse me, in Northern Virginia, who are without power. Back to you. Baltimore over the death of a man in police custody. And tonight, there are more questions than answers. 25yearold freddie gray suffered a deadly spinal cord injury sunday. Today, Police Released a new timeline of his arrest. At one point while gray was in the police van, he became irate. Then 40 minutes later, paramedics rush him to the hospital. Gray also asked several times for an inhaler. Did they ignore the signs and symptoms to the mans detriment . Reporter six officers involved are now on paid leave. Police expect to have their investigation wrapped up by next friday. And we are just getting word of this tonight. Blue bell creamery is recalling all of its products on the market. This after two samplings of Chocolate Chip Cookie dough tested positive for listeria. It extends to 23 states including virginia. The ceo issued a statement just a few minutes ago. News4 was there as the flames shot through the back of the bus around 5 45 this afternoon. The Fire Department tweeted it was a fuel fire. Neighbors say it was a pretty frightening scene. You couldnt see anything because initially you couldnt see the sky. Everything was gray you know to black smoke. Immediately wondered whether or noteople on the bus. Fortunately all of the passengers were safely evacuated. A man from california accused of climbing over the white house fence says he did it for a reason but he wont say what the reason was. Jerome hunt is his name. He was released from custody today. Hell have to wear an ankle monitor. He says he hopped on a Greyhound Bus in california rode it to d. C. Just to jump over the fence. He says he used a bike rack to get over. Once he was on the white house lawn he was quickly arrested. They have a good protective system for the president. They reacted real fast. Thats all ill say. He says it was never his intention to get into the white house, nor was it his intention to hurt anyone. New details on the death of an arlington mother. Police say she was stabled to death with her Young Children inside that house. On friday neighbors spotted her 5 and 3yearold children upset and wandering outside in their pajamas. Dr. Bonnie black was dead inside the house. Police say the children are in a safe place while they investigate. A 13yearold boy and his 9yearold sister were saved from a house fire in clinton, maryland. That 911 dispatcher helped those kids in that fire. The kids were trapped inside a bedroom as their house was burning down on small drive. The boy called 911 and dispatcher Kristen Ritter tried to guide the kidding out of the house, but the boy said the hallway was too hot to go out that way. Thats when she gave instructions how to keep smoke out of the house. And she asked questions. Talking to someone, you want them to make it out. You dont want that to be the last time you talk to them. Whoever taught him to do that and stay calm, that saved him and his sisters life. Fire Officials Say the fire appears to have started near a computer desk. What caused the fire is still being investigated. Tough go through tough security measures to board a plane.
