got quite a surprise. mega millions jackpot soaring to a new world record. what could you buy with all that? how about a house worth $16 million? a car that sells for nearly $400,000. and preparing to open in d.c. tomorrow a shop known as the walmart of weed. and that's not all medical marijuana supporters have to look forward to. first tonight, though, new details in the trayvon martin-george zimmerman case. tonight, george zimmerman's brother spoke out for the first time. robert zimmerman lives in manassas park in virginia. he talked about george's current mental state and the injuries he is said to be still recovering from. jim handly with that story. >> reporter: jim, robert zimmerman spoke to cnn's piers morgan tonight. he said the leak of that police report detailing his brother's version of what happened a month ago in fluor allowed him to go public because the investigation had been compromised. just last night this video was released showing george after the confrontation with trayvon martin. many who watched this tape said it appeared zimmerman had no injuries. tonight robert zimmerman said his brother is still recovering from a broken nose. he said it looked to him like his brother's nose was swoemen in the video and just because there was no visible blood doesn't even he wasn't injured. robert said his brother did not take his gun out and shoot trayvon martin but that he fought to take control of his gun and prevent it from being used against him. george zimmerman later expressed frustration to his family that none of the neighbors came out of their homes to interrupt the altercation and potentially stop it before it became deadly. also new tonight, robert zimmerman said his brother is now dealing with severe emotional issues. >> he's been diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder. he was not right from the moment it happened. he didn't call his family and express anything but, you know, sadness. it was just a darkness. he had changed. he wasn't the same. he would never be the same. >> the outrage nationwide that george zimmerman hasn't been arrested or charged with any crime has impacted the rest of the zimmerman family. robert said there have been credible death threats against him and other family members. jim? >> jim handly. thanks, jim. tonight, film director spike lee is apologizing for and paying for a mistake that he made in the trayvon martin case. spike lee retweeted an incorrect address for george zimmerman's house in florida. that action forced a couple who live there, a couple with no connection to the case, to leave their home in fear. spike lee today reached a settlement with that family. the details are not being disclosed. and as noted, he also issued an apology. five members of a fairfax county street gang are accused of running an underage prostitution business. police say donyell dove and other gang members approached high school girls at bus stops, at metro stops, on school grounds, and on facebook and they're accused of pa raigd the girls around alexandria apartments to solicit sex. police say the girls were threatened and abused if they wanted out. >> women including juveniles were allegedly targeted, recruited, exploited, physically abused and threatened, and put at risk for financial gain by others. >> police say as many as ten girls were recruited by the gang members over the last five years. in prince george's county a high school track has been turned into a place of mourning. students there are coping with the sudden death of their classmate, tekaya racian. she was a senior there. she died suddenly yesterday while jogging as part of gym class. many of the students today wore pink and carried pink balloons in her memory. that was her favorite color. her father said he is not aware of any pre-existing illness. a traffic stop unlike any other in 30 years. that's how the officer who pulled over batman described his surprise last week. tonight jackie vinson spoke with him as video of the scene went public. >> he's got no tags but he's got batman on it and he's dressed like batman. >> reporter: this dash cam video provided by montgomery county police shows an officer pulling over, well, batman on route 29 last week. >> i like the outfit, man. >> thank you. >> az got closer to the car all i could see is ears. and i'm saying to myself, god, i hope this guy's not wearing a batman outfit. >> reporter: officer paul borgia is a veteran police officer known as a fair guy, but the consider did not have license plates and the law's the law. he had to lay it down to batman. >> okay. you got a front tag there? a storm for the weekend. i'll show you what part of the weekend it may affect. we have a developing story in southwest virginia. a huge fire destroyed a furniture building in basset tonight. it began shortly before 6:00, engulfed the basset superior line's furniture building. flames jumped the smith river and put homes on the other side of the water in danger for several hours. firefighters now have this fire contained, but they plan to let it burn itself out. they're going to keep a close eye on things overnight. it turns out the building that caught fire was set to be demolished anyway. no word on the cause of this inferno. tonight a group of teachers in prince william county were rallying to keep them xrfrom cutting education funds. the union members were urging support from passing drivers outside the county government building in woodbridge. those teachers say they have overcrowded schools because the school's budget has not kept up with the county's growth. a store referred to as the walmart of we'd will be opening in the district tomorrow just as the d.c. department of health announces the locations of marijuana cultivation centers. the weed grow store in neeftd spent the day preparing for its big opening. the store will provide supplies like grow lights and fertilizer for anyone who wants to grow indoor plants. it will also offer consulting services for medical marijuana growers. >> the goal is really also to educate these cultivators to make sure they're producing a high-quality medicine for the district of columbia patients. because what we're seeing in areas where there's not a lot of education and resources available the medical cannabis being grown is not very safe. >> the weed grow store, it will not be selling marijuana plants or seeds. it is the third store of its kind to be opening in the united states. coming up tonight, more and more rats. the question is why so many of them now? wake up at 4:30 and it's not 3:30. 4:30 is not 3:30. it's a big difference out there. temperatures tomorrow morning will be on the cool side. for many of us a frost advisory is in effect across the region but still kind of nice out there right now. a little bit of a cool feeling to it as you walk outside this evening. temperatures still in the 50s at least around the metro area but the rest of us starting to fall down just a little bit. out there a high temperature of 70 degrees. but that was actually at 12:52 in the morning. actual high temperature in the afternoon. the afternoon high temperature was 63 degrees. we did see some cooler numbers across parts of the area. right now 53 with that wind out of the north at 13 miles an hour. that wind is going to calm down, and it has to do so in order for those temperatures to f now in hagerstown it's 45 but 39 degrees in frederick, 43 in leesburg, and 41 in winchester. temperatures will fall another five, six degrees across the area. that will put frederick down around 33, 34 degrees, and you can get frost above the freezing temperature. so even though we don't hit freezing officially you can still see some frost out there especially on your windshields and maybe some of the outdoor plants, frederick, winchester. that's the area under the frost advisory, it does not include the washington, d.c. metro area or any of the counties directly around washington. satellite and radar showing a few clouds around but still clear skies around us. that's the way it's going to stay tomorrow night. tomorrow, however, i think we'll see mostly cloudy skies tomorrow. i also think it's going to stay dry throughout much. day until this warm front begins to make its way across as does this area of low pressure. we will see some rain overnight tomorrow night into the day on saturday but it's just going to be shower variety and most of it will be very, very light. i would be very surprised to see a tenth of an inch to maybe a quarter of an inch at the very most. so don't expect saturday to be a washout, and by sunday this system's out of here. another little cold front moves through saturday night and into the day on monday. tomorrow morning mostly clear. a cold start with possible frost. 32 to about 42 degrees. tomorrow afternoon sunshine early. increasing clouds, though, during the afternoon. still pretty nice, though, especially early. then tomorrow afternoon or tomorrow evening we'll start to see the chances for rain on the increase. that will last through the day on saturday. right now sunday looking pretty good as temperatures move back to 68. saturday will be a little cool with a high of 59. but then sunday, monday temperatures warm back up and as we make our way toward next week it does look
