>> and i'm doreen gentzler. two bodies have been found tonight. >> this is on 23rd parkway and oxen run drive. darcy spencer is there with our report. darcie? >> reporter: i've been able to confirm in the last few minute that is this is, in fact, a double homicide investigation that police tonight have located the bodies of a mother and child here behind this community center. the investigation is taking place along the wood line of a hillcrest heights community center at oxen run drive and 25th avenue here in the temple hills area. now, police received a call earlier this week about a missing person who was with her 1-year-old daughter at the time. i'm hold that police did conduct a search of this area around curtis drive and around the community center earlier this week, and found nothing at that point. but another search was conducted at some point today and that's when the two bodies were located. prince georges county police put out a press release earlier this week, indicating that they were working with baltimore county police in this missing person investigation. according to the press release, the missing woman is a 21-year-old, she was with her 1-year-old daughter when she went missing earlier this week. the indication was she was last seen on monday at some point here in the temple hills area. police are not confirming that they have found the bodies of this woman and child who were reported missing earlier this week, they are saying that the bodies of a woman and child have been located here along the wood line behind this community center this is a very active investigation. it's continuing tonight. as we get additional details, we'll bring them to you. darcy spencer, news 4 back to you. >> thanks, darcie. today we found out that no one will be charged in the death of a man outside the d.c. nine nightclub last october. this case is dmou closes. jackie benson is at ninth and u streets northwest with more on the story. >> the night this happened, u street was busy like it is now. there was chaos, a man was running, people were chasing him. all of it watched by stunned bystanders. >> we want answers. >> we want justice. >> this was the angry outpouring from the ethiopian community last october after murder charges against five employees of the dc 9 nightclub were dropped. at the time of the october 15th, 2010 incident witnesses told police the men violently beat mohammed after he threw two bricks at the window. a six-month investigation has revealed no evidence to support the beating claims and so the case is closed. >> the family of mr. mohammed has shown tremendous grace and patience throughout this investigation. >> reporter: kathy lynn initially deplored mohammed's death as a case of vigilante justice. in a statement tonight the department says, the orge into accounts by witnesses were not discovered to be mistaken or inaccurate until a more comprehensive review of the medical and forensic evidence was done. the d.c. medical examiner believed mohammed died from a combination of a possible heart defect, alcohol intoxication and struggling against being restrained. billy martin told news 4, mohammed's family is disappointed but determined to continue their struggles to see that those individuals responsible for causing or contributing to the homicide of mohammed are brought to just miss a court of law. his family still plans a civil lawsuit. dc 9 declined to comment. back to you. ?
