We have a live picture actually from downtown fayetteville if we can go to that. Incredible to see the amount of water there. This is cross creek. Fayetteville know exactly what im talking about. This is by ray avenue by festival park. The water has jumped the banks, and is coming over the road. In no way, shape, or form do you ever want to drive your car across a road that looks like this. This has just turned into a mess here. Theyre stopping cars from this point on coming down the road, because it is a dangerous situation. One of the reasons its dangerous, if you take a look at the lefthand corner of your screen youre going to see the water reason off to anderson creek. Thats because of the massive amount of flooding thats happened on overhills road. Take a look at this video from just a few hours ago. A number of cars we saw, car and car come through here, trying to get through, many of them getting stuck. They had to call friends, family members, anyone that was able to get them and pull them out of this water. Also no one was hurt. But we could not emphasize dont drown. Its simply not worth it. But again, brian, this road is closed. All right. That is good news. And as we see the sunrising, well probably see more road closures.
