Some of that is intruding along the i95 corridor, so the computer is seen this as rain in the area. We see the green showing up and further south to the west, freezing rain from montgomery county, moore county, into from fayetteville, sampson county, this is falling in the form of rain. Lets take a look at 31 at rdu. When you are watching elizabeth, it was 26, 27, 28. Numbers continue to go up. That means its not able to support anything frozen underground because its warming. 34 in philly fayetteville, 36 goldsboro. Evening and much of overnight is off to the west from just two to greensboro to asheboro. Your winter storm warning will carry on until 7 00 a. M. Tomorrow morning although that may be a stretch for orange and person counties. That will get above freezing and the threat should come to the end. The Winter Weather advisory continues until 7 00 in a triangle, up to south hill, virginia, Chatham County and moore county potential of a few icy spots on elevated roads since they are surrounded by below freezing. It was quite a mess on our roadways, and we want to show you some video that we have from some crashes in the area. This first images from a traffic camera. It was taken at four 440 and the 64 bypass, a car flipped and went right into the segment while on an overpass. You can only imagine looking at the view how scary that must have been for that motorists. The road was closed temporarily. Area bridges as you know, as they always are in this kind of weather, where the major problem all morning long. A lot of accidents happening near bridges. We also want to show you this footage that we captured in knightdale. It was around 8 00 a. M. On u. S. Highway 264, a traffic trailer involved in this car crash and at least three other vehicles. Serious injuries there. We also had a problematic area on poole road this morning. There were several crashes on poole road in raleigh the force the road to be shut down for quite a while during the morning commute, and we even saw a Raleigh Police cruiser sliding around down there. Fortunately, again, no serious injuries. Only damage reported. Back out here, we are on us64, and it is looking terrific. So, cant complain tonight. Highway patrol reported more than 450 accidents today, one involved at least five cars and shut down a portion of us1 at 540 for several hours. Along the highways, we have seen people like this, medical guardrails, david vehicles and plenty of topamax. Everything. Fender benders, rear enders, sometimes we will have one accident with multiple vehicles that, you know, you have different scenarios within that same accident. They really had their hands full with all of these accidents. Respond to as many as they could and stay safe on the side of the road as these conditions were icy and slippery this morning. Notice that bridge. That is the area we are most concerned with. Those bridges, even though the ground temperatures are bit and the brine doing its thing, there is able to get up and under the bridge so its more likely to match air temperatures which are still at or just below freezing across most of the area. As we look on i440 at wade avenue, a couple of rough accident out there this morning and again, bridges. But things are moving along just fine. Some wet roads, but at miami moving along.
