>> we don't know if she had anything heart related or anything related to this particular incident, but she's been very open about some of her other health struggles over the year, everything from depression to alcoholism to some electroshock therapy she underwent to help with her depression. she's been open about these types of things, some bipolarism as well. it's unrelated -- it's unknown if any of this had anything to do with what happened, but she has had health issues in the past. >> we know she is involved in the next "star wars" movie. disney told me yesterday that production on "episode viii" of "star wars" is wrapped, they're finished. that doesn't mean there isn't some voiceover or other ancillary things to be done but the main filming of the film is over. >> so, if you would, could you talk a little about carrie fisher's historical place in hollywood? >> absolutely. i mean, she may be known around the world as princess leia but in hollywood she really is royalty. everything from her upbringing with two very famous parents and she starred in a warren beatty movie in high school. in 1973 she was in "shampoo," that was her debut, and she filmed "star wars" when she was 19 years old. it seems like she's been famous forever because she has her entire life and not only as an actress she's an accomplished writer and author and in hollywood she is a well-known script doctor, meaning she works on screenplays and helps as a writer behind the scenes as much as she is in front of the camera. >> what an incredible career she's had and let's hope it continues. heightened vigilance around the world after the deadly attack in berlin. the specifics here are deeply troubling as so many plan to attend religious services this christmas sunday. [ sirens ] this morning a new warning from the country's top counterterror teams just as christmas arrives. isis is calling for its supporters to target churches around the u.s. in a joint bulletin fbi and homeland security officials are urging police to remain vigilant during this holiday season after isis on december 21st published a link to a website containing the names and addresses of churches in the u.s. and called on supporters to attack them. >> even a person with no direct ties to a terrorist organization can still represent a threat to this country. >> reporter: the bulletin the past. but none have resulted in a successful attack. in this latest bulletin officials said they are not tracking a specific target at this time. dan. >> gloria, thank you. the other major political and security issue swirling as we head into the holidays involves the holyland, the u.n. security council just passed a measure criticizing israel, the measure the obama administration refused to block. donald trump is now speaking out and abc's mary bruce is on the story from washington. mary, good morning. >> reporter: good morning. yeah, the obama administration going out with a bang delivering a shocking rebuke of israel. the white house allowing that highly symbolic censure to pass through the u.n. the security council passing that measure condemning israel for building settlements in occupied territories, even though there's long-standing policy of shielding israel. now, donald trump had put enormous pressure on the obama administration to veto the abstained from voting, and now on twitter trump is making clear he is not happy tweeting as to the u.n., things will be different after january 20th. now, trump is also taking a starkly different position from president obama on another key foreign policy issue this morning, nuclear security. the president-elect is now suggesting adversaries should bring it on welcoming a new nuclear arms race. trump reportedly saying that america will outlast and outmatch any other global power. now, trump's team says that they respect that there is only one president at a time, but that donald trump is certainly not someone who is going to sit back and wait. dan and rebecca. >> certainly not expecting that from him. >> no. >> sit back and wait. >> interesting to see these differences between the incoming and outgoing president. thank you, mary bruce in our washington bureau. a lot of other news and for that as always it's over to dr. ron claiborne. >> i knew you were going to say that. >> it's one of those mornings i felt like calling you doctor. >> i could feel it coming. good morning to you, dr. dan harris. rebecca and tony, everyone. >> the doctor is in the house. in arkansas, the suspect in the men threatening to blow up the plane and they were demanding to be flown to malta where they were taken into custody within hours of the landing. the hijackers released hostages unharmed. authorities say initial exams show that their weapons were fake. and university of oklahoma football star joe is apologizing for punching a woman back in 2014. >> no, never, never okay to, you know, retaliate and hit a woman. >> video of that altercation was released last week. mixon accepted a plea deal and was suspended for one season. he will play in the sugar bowl on january 2nd against auburn. in california, the first lawsuit has been filed in that deadly warehouse fire in oakland that killed 36 people. the parents of a 20-year-old college student who died in the blaze are blaming intermountain west 3,000 feet and above you'll see a white christmas for sure but then that blizzard, yeah, you'll dump snow across parts of the dakotas but on the east side of this, it's pretty warm, windy conditions with thunderstorm as it presses through the mountains, the four corners region, a foot or more in higher elevations. there's your white christmas and icy northwest of minneapolis. but east of this we're really pumping up the heat, so much so we'll see some severe weather across nebraska and kansas during the day tomorrow and this is really just a couple of miles east of where the
