This is one of many cities that seems like in the past month thats been getting hit with flash floods during the overnight period and thats exactly what happened in the last 12 hours causing chaos in kansas city. Overnight a flash flood emergency in kansas city. The storm leaving roads impassable and creating lakes in parking lots. Nearly seven inches of rain forcing the city to shut down in some areas. The Rushing Water waist high, swallowing everything in its path. The floods reeking havoc on these cars on the street and in underground parking lots. This creek taken over by Roaring Rapids and rising over ten feet in just one hour. This is downtown k. C. Right now. Hopefully the heavy stuff will stay across the immediate coastline and through parts of southeast texas. In italy, a day of National Mourning as the first victims of that massive earthquake are laid to rest. Aftershocks are still jolting that part of the country where the quake struck this week.
