And you have to love tim howards voice this morning maybe he was screaming a little last night. The voice, but im sure after last nights game he deserved to go out and have a good time. He played an incredible game. He was the hero here. Look at the saves, 16 in all yesterday. Its really just hard to imagine that the team could have made it this far without tim howard. He was the star up there. Super hero. I loved it, good morning, america. And he started coughing. We cut out. We cant wait to get to tim. We have a lot of news to get to. Right off the top, the hurricane watch for parts of the east coast this morning. Tropical storm arthur gaining strength as we get on the air. Ginger zee tracking it all. And looking more like a Tropical Storm. You can see the rotation paralleling the east coast of florida. Still in the atlantic, strengthening overnight to 60 mile per hour winds, max sustained, and moving north. Just grazing florida. But affecting mostly South Carolina and North Carolina. I think the outer banks get the first hurricane of our atlantic season. But i really wanted to focus on the northeast. Is it going to get us . Rough surf into the weekend, but not a direct hit. This thing is moving. Were on hurricane watch right now as far as the outer banks goes. Tropical storm watches, and even warnings out in the waters. Especially for Daytona Beach today. A driver pulled out of a burning car by a Good Samaritan who was at the right place at the right time. You wont believe how he managed to pull the driver to safety. The video is terrifying. A car burning on the side of a minnesota highway. Now imagine actually being there. Trapped in those flames. I knew i was in trouble. Reporter 51yearold Michael Johannes was driving down the road when his suv suddenly became engulfed. The power went out, the speedometer down to zero. Reporter and his doors locked. He was trapped. I decided to try to kick the passenger side out. Reporter but the window wouldnt break. The husband and father says he was preparing to die. I started thinking about my daughter, my wife. Reporter until a hero on the highway, 52yearold bob renning, an air national guardsman, pulls over and sprints to help. What happened next is unbelievable. I didnt have anything to break the glass. I grabbed the top of the door frame and pulled until tglass broke. Reporter he went the piece of metal with his bare hands before pulling him to safety. We were there when the two men reunited. A young mother killed out for a jog. It appeared to be a hit and run, but it was much worse. Tough story to start with. Reporter wish i had more uplifting news. There is a task force to investigate this, the first homicide of the year in dalton township. Lots of theories, but no leads, and what caused this wife and mother to be killed while out for a run. The death of 36yearold rebecca bletch was thought or a hit and run, now a homicide. Evidence pointed us in the other direction. Reporter she was found sunday evening along this quiet country road, less than a pile from her michigan home. They found multiple shell casings near her body, and upon further investigation, a small bullet wound. The wife and mother had been shot in the head. No scenario can make sense, can bring any kind of understanding to what transpired. Reporter police say her last contact with a Family Member was around 5 00 p. M. A little over an hour later, the couple who discovered her body called 911. The physical therapist found along the same path she was regular lly jogged. The way she was dressed, she was getting some exercise. Reporter she was found with several valuables, making robbery an unlike limotive. Her husband and 11yearold daughter were out of town. Her husband is not a suspect. He was too distraught to speak, his uncle described her as a vibrant woman whos death is baffling and devastating. She pitched in, concerned about other folks. She was not just a person running down the road. She had a life. Reporter police are hopeful there are clues in the autopsy results. Very little crime in this town. Only three homicides in all of last year. This one mysterious. Rattling the town. And dan abrams, this is a tough one. You heard the report, the husband not a suspect. Begin with the people closersest to her . Absolutely. First they think its a hit and run, then shes shot. People they know the best. The husband was out of town with the daughter. Doesnt necessarily mean he wasnt involved. Look into him, exclude him as a possibility. Then look to other people she knew well. With a motive. The idea this is random, that someone is out jogs and gets shot and left with valuables is improbable to the authorities. Its not impossible, but its inprobable. They will think that way. Want to exclude those she knows best first. Thats key, they found the valuables. The 5 00 p. M. Phone call, going over the phone records . Thats crucial. Who were the last people she talked to . What was she texting about . Who was she emailing . And back beyond just the most recent ones. Was there any conflict . Was there anyone there who would have had a motive to do this . How could this have happened . They wanted to piece together the story of her life now. The way to do that is by looking back at her computer records and, of course, her phone. Tell me about the inspiration for the video and the choices you made and the song itself. Well, the song was really just the songs poured out of me over the course of two weeks. And the whole album pretty much. And when i was looking through some of our wedding photos, sent mental stuff, i saw the pictures of the kids at the wedding. And i thought it might be nice to recreate a wedding from the eyes of the 8 year olds. And the title still madly crazy, does that say it all . We were childhood sweethearts. Shes the best person i have ever met. The least i could do would be to devote an album to her. I think that is a beautiful thing. And in the song, get her back, in the video, you include text messages. Theyre powerful and very personal. Yes. What was your reasoning behind including those and sharing those very private i actually have no idea what im doing. Im just kind of flying by the seat of my pants on this one. But i just wanted to make something artist iis iist out o difficult period, you know . And in doing so, its so very private. And you are doing it so public lip. Well, you know, when you when you lose the love of your life you dont have much to hide anymore. What would you want to say right now if you had the chance to your fans and paula . Just to everybody, if you have a good woman, take care of her, guys. The very last song is called forever love. Yes. Read the titles of the songs, they are beautiful and run the gamut. You can tell this was written during an emotional high and low period. But forever love, you take responsibility for the breakup, and you talk about the fact its very adult. You talk about, hey, we are forever family. Right. Was that well, the album, i didnt want it to be all depressing. I didnt want her to listen to it and make her sad only. I wanted there to be moments where she had hope and positivity that life that her and i can still both have a great life no matter what happens, well be great friends and parents.
