An Army Spokeswoman says he reported for basic training in august 2015 but was later released and fields is due in court today facing murder and other charges. The other vics were Virginia State troopers who died when their helicopter crashed as they were looking to get to the scene. He had to be escorted out into the Police Station by the authorities. He did say a few things before he escaped the crowds blaming the police for what happened saturday and saying that angry mob that was yelling at him calling that an example of antiwhite hate. Diane. Friends and family of the woman killed in that crash tell abc news she was a strong woman who died speaking out against discrimination. Heather heyer was a single mom working as a paralegal and as a waitress trying to support her daughter. Heyers own mother said she was a strong advocate for peace. Heathers life was not about hate, and this young man who ran my daughter down mistakenly believed that hate would change the world. Heathers mom continued by saying she was destined to give her life for fighting against evil. Family and friends are mourning the loss of veteran Virginia State troopers berk bates and jay cullen. They were in a helicopter deployed in response to the violence. That crashed not far from the scene. So, President Trump had promised to hold a Big Press Conference today but its not on his official schedule as he faces growing criticism over his remarks following the deadly violence. Demonstrators gathered at trump tower in new york and in other cities urging the president to denounce specifically the hate groups involved in the clashes. This morning the white house is possible terms this egregious display of hatred, bigotry and violence on many sides, on many sides.
