Investigators say it was in this middle class neighborhood at a home shared with his mother where Micah Johnson had a stockpile of bombmaking materials. In western michigan two bailiffs were shot and killed by a prisoner they were taking to a courtroom. Larry Darnell Gordon allegedly grabbed a deputy sheriffs gun as he was taken out of a holding cell. In addition to the bailiffs he also shot that deputy as well as a civilian woman who were both injured. The bailiffs were retired Police Officers in their early 60s with more than ten years of experience as court officers.
